I agree that the flavors are mild; be sure to ask for extra spicy if you like it that way. It was ready super fast and it was easy to just get a single taco and just hang out in the comfortable booth section nearby while I waited two hours for my flight.
Quick and simple taco that was made exactly the way I like (though I wish a tad bit spicier; so be sure to ask for extra spicy if you like that)
(The booth is like A+ sleeping material ; would be great to have a little nap on if it weren’t so public lol)

The food looks it could be great, but quite underwhelming. They are lacking flavor, under seasoned, and lacking the zest Mexican foods usually have. I was excited about their healthy options of veggies and beans, but found it very hard to enjoy…I really hope they do better in the future!

The bowl looked like it was going to be good. Came out soupy and terribly under-seasoned. Salt and pepper helped some, but the salt in the packets with chemical additives has its own weird flavor. Probably won’t be back.

Food is bad, tastes old and dried out. Also severely overpriced for the quality.

Milkshake was very good though, and a large container so makes the price worth it.

Why would you take something that is simple and easy to eat like a quesadilla and put a bunch of garbage on it and turn it into a mess that can’t be eaten easily? Quesadillas should have cheese and meat and that is it and for the employees to steer you in any other direction is just wrong. I won’t be back. I threw it in the trash.

Overall, if you’re in Gate A I’d recommend this option for dinner. It’s about one step below Moe’s in flavor, but generous portions and good options for healthy airport food. The staff seemed more straightforward than warm and friendly, but they took care to make the bowl as requested. I didn’t feel rushed and they were focused and helpful.

I really enjoyed my chicken bowl. Of course prices are quite high because it’s in an airport. It had great flavor, yummy sauces, and they really filled the bowl up with food. Only issue is it was too watery. Just drain the meat more, that’s the issue but that seems like an easy fix. The service was average, nothing exceptional, but nice people. I’d eat there again, yum!

I recently dined at Salsarita’s in Raleigh Durham International Airport on October 20, 2024, and was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a burrito with chicken, rice, black beans, tomatoes, and lettuce and tortilla chips. The food was subpar and completely lacked seasoning. It was a huge letdown, especially given the high expectations for airport dining. To make matters worse, it was very expensive. I ended up throwing it away. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were disappointed with both the food and the service here. As other reviews have noted, the employees were dismissive and rude to both customers and each other, and use of gloves on both food and non food items (such as the cash register, oven etc.) was concerning. The burrito was quite large, but had no flavor whatsoever. The portion of guacamole was very overpriced and also lacked any flavor. The area to dine in was dirty, and the booths and chairs are in need of replacements as the fabric on many of them is torn.

Overpriced and gave me food poisoning. Literally $20 for a quesadilla, thank god my flight was short because I didn’t keep any of it down! Waste of money for so many reasons, it wasn’t even good.
