After a full day exploring Saguaro National Park, we discovered Salsa Verde tucked away from the bustle of downtown and what a gem it turned out to be. The restaurant is spotless, with floors so clean they literally shine. We were warmly welcomed by Zoey, a sweet young woman with a bright, bubbly personality. Her charming boyfriend, Cesar, was our server, and together they made sure we had everything we could possibly need.
Zoey offered me a sample of their homemade horchata, which was absolutely delightful. For dinner, I chose Los Gobernadores, grilled shrimp tacos with veggies and salsa, all wrapped in a cheese-crusted corn tortilla. They make their tortillas in-house, which made the tacos especially delicious.
Since it was my birthday, I treated myself to a tres leches cake to go. It was tasty, though I think it could have used just a little more leche.

Stumbled upon Salsa Verde, and so glad I did! Fantastic service, $5 margarita night, and a huge meat filled burrito wrapped in bacon. Need I say more!? Highly recommend!

Great meal at Salsa Verde. Large selection and big portions. Along was our server and she was super friendly with good recommendations. My only negative is that we were charged 2.75 for a very small chip refill. I would have liked to know that up front. Very good margaritas.

Stop driving by and go inside. Flavors are absolutely amazing on every dish. Pollo and carne asada had perfect amount of char. We got the birra, baked potato and nachos all really good.

Absolutely fantastic in every way! Chile verde pork chimichanga enchilada style with all three sauces was incredible. Pineapple and strawberry horchatas were sublime! The best part was the service by Elany!
