I am going to lead with an apology ! …… I just don’t get the hype, I am sorry!
My nieces friend who currently resides in DC, but once lived in the Atlanta metro area told her this spot had the BEST tacos in the city! I am on the hunt for a new favorite Mexican spot so I was willing to drive across town to check this spot out!
I went on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is located inside of a gas station. They have a few tables for you to dine at in the small area that they occupy.
I ordered 2 regular tacos, a chicken Birria taco and a side of black beans. The lady at the register was friendly and also served as my server when she brought the food to my table. The tacos were just tacos! Nothing stood out about them. Additionally , the black beans were just black beans.
Overall it’s a spot to check out if you just need to get your belly full. It’s not bad, just not memorable.

The birria tacos were awesome, both the chicken and beef. I believe they use battered tortillas instead of corn tortillas which I personally prefer. Prices were also great. The staff were arguing so it didn’t feel pleasant eating inside but other than that, the food was good.

This restaurant was absolutely spectacular. Next to a gas station along Buford Hwy, this place exceeded my expectations.
The food is a delicious mix of Mexican dishes presented in a “fast food” manner especially conducive to having as takeout. The onion rings were absolutely delicious, and their vegetarian options are also super solid.
Super casual eats, homey and nostalgic interior, such kind employees, and reliable in all senses. Need to return and would recommend to all!

I love this place. The food is delicious, well prepared, balanced seasoning, and fresh quality. And it’s all halal. Love that. I can’t say it enough. I have waited years for a halal mexican spot in Atlanta. This place does not disappoint. Yes, its in a gas station but it has a proper professional kitchen and staff. Food is authentic. My personal fave is the hard shell beef tacos. The only downside to this place is they close too early to satisfy my late night taco cravings. Otherwise, it’s a great place to get really good food. The shrimp tacos are the best I ever had, perfectly marinated and cooked. Highly recommend.

I was really excited to try the Birria Tacos, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to my expectations. The beef birria taco was decent, but the steak taco was bland and lacked flavor. The biggest disappointment was the consomé—it was far too bland, with no rich, meaty flavor, almost like watered-down broth.
On the positive side, the service was good, but there were other letdowns. I ordered a side of pico de gallo for $1.99, and it was mostly onions with barely any tomatoes. To top it off, the restroom was filthy, which was off-putting.

Today was the day that The Most High (Allah) blessed my soul in a most delectable way… I researched restaurants that had birria tacos. I found this precious gem (Salsa Taqueria) on Yelp and I had to take a trip and see what the rave was all about. My daughters and I went for lunch today and I didn’t know what to expect. I was excited and hungry at the same time. I placed our order and I was so pleased with the customer service and we only waited for a short period of time for our food.
Our food was brought to the table and after praying over this lovely looking meal, my taste buds were taken in so many places at once. The plates the food were served on were so vibrant and alluring. The food was so fresh and satisfying- I was thoroughly impressed. This will be a go to spot for my family from now on. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great fresh food and sizable portions. I frequent this location and the service is very quick. I usually call in and I’m able to pick it right up. Not giving 5 stars as they have forgot my sauces on several occasion or only given one samll sauce for a full plate of nachos so definitely make sure you check your bag. Overall it’s a must go for birria tacos, nachos, etc. AUTHENTIC!

I’ve ordered from here 3x on door dash in the past week. Affordable, quick, consistent, and clean. I actually went in to eat there as well and the customer service was excellent. It is inside a gas station, so don’t expect all the frills. But the food is amazing and fresh every single time. I always get the beef and chicken birria tacos and they never disappoint!
