Didn’t expect to go here but we were hungry and in the area. Glad we stopped and choose this place. Awesome decor, the service was excellent, the food was very very very good. The green sauce with the nachos!!

Nice place. Food was very good. Waitress was very personable. Service was a disaster. Had to wait for a fork to eat my entree for so long my wife was halfway done with her meal. Than I had to wait longer for my tortillas that came with my meal that they forgot to give me. Ordered a dessert that literally never came. We waited so long that eventually we gave up and just paid the check and left. Valentines Day dinner was a huge disappointment. We will never go back.

The food is always hot fresh and delicious. The chimmichangas are fantastic as well as the tacos and the steak and shrimp combo. Excellent empanadas. The drinks are perfectly balanced. The customer service is great. Joannie is absolutely excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

Mexican food is always a “yes” to me, especially when there’s table side guac! Any time I’ve eaten here, the food is consistent. I wouldn’t say authentic but good nonetheless. The staff is friendly and the drinks are definitely on point. My only regret is that as is with the other eateries in the area, the restaurant closes so early during the week. However, on Friday and Saturday, they’re open until 11.

The fish tacos were big and delicious. It’s not mentioned on the menu but it comes with some pineapple salsa which is good. The plantains had a funny taste. The frozen margaritas were really good. I got peach and my partner’s mango was one of the best mango frozens we tasted anywhere. The service was great. We sat at the bar and they even turned on the basketball game for us. We’ll be back.
Oh the wings were good as well. They came with like 8 and they were a substantial size. This was money well spent.

Food, margaritas, ambiance and service are all great! I have been visiting Ken Waka at salsa for what must be close to ten years now and he never disappoints. Always professional, personable, and provides exceptional service to the guests. I also love the addition of Joan to the team. When they are both there it’s like having dinner and drinks with family.

Our server was friendly and attentive. I have no complaints except for the below.
With that said, I do want to mention that this establishment says it offers a “cash discount” on the bill.
It’s just too bad that they charge more if a customer uses a credit card. Establishments should stop doing that. Whatever an establishment calls it, “cash discount” or “non-credit transaction” or, what have you. There shouldn’t be a dependency on the form of payment one chooses to use that causes your bill to decrease or increase. I think? What do to think?

Food Done It?
It’s delicious. Spot-on craving-satisfier. Quality ingredients, seasoned & prepared well & plated beautifully. The decor sets a good mood and fits the flavors colorful, friendly, & priced right there with any other seated dining in RVC. We’ll definitely be back. ♀️ ♂️
