When IG says come through, you know the assignment has to be met! We enjoyed this kool spot set in the cuts and still close to everything. Even the local neighbors walked with the kids to pick up a quick bite. The special was what I wanted and boy do it give me everything I expected.

Amazing food and reasonable prices! We had a California Burrito ($15) and the Special El Pastor street tacos (5 for $15, plus a can of soda included). The salsas were all so flavorful – especially the creamy orange salsa and the verde. The pico was so good we drank the juices! I was impressed at the beverage selection as they had both Topo Chico and Mineragua! Even had Tizy Pina and several cervesas.
The atmosphere was lively with tables and big TVs playing Latin futbol (soccer). Service was friendly and informative, the gentleman behind the counter went beyond to make us feel welcome! We will be back again!

This is my favorite Mexican place in Concord at the moment. The portions are generous. The price is reasonable. They have options if you want balls of grease or something a little lighter. The Buche and Tripa are both nice and soft. They’ll even make a pambazo if you ask, which you should.

My typical go-to was closed today, so I diverted to here instead. It was okay. Not terribly clean or organized (which makes a big difference visually).
The food was fine. Would have enjoyed the cheese to have been melted, or the enchilada to have more flavor. The green sauce was cold and seemed straight from a can.
The salsa, the restaurant’s namesake, was okay. Somewhat fresh, but lacked flavor.
Service was fine. Prices were about average.
Probably won’t return unless some of those areas are addressed.

Extremely disappointing experience. The place isn’t very clean—there were a lot of flies when I walked in, and the overall environment felt unsanitary. One of the food handlers was eating directly from the chip station before serving customers, which is completely unacceptable. I brought this to the owner’s attention, but instead of addressing it, he became defensive and rude.
The cashier didn’t speak English well, which made communication difficult. I tried to be patient and even helped her during the transaction, but she repeatedly tried to charge me $50 for a $0.50 item. When the owner realized I had been incorrectly charged, he did nothing to fix it or offer any kind of support. Half of my order was wrong because the cashier didn’t know how to ring it up properly, and when I asked for a refund, the owner yelled “no” and refused to listen to my concerns.
To top it off, the food wasn’t even good—my meat was dry and flavorless. Overall, it was a very poorly run business with unprofessional and, frankly, disrespectful management. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I stopped in here and had a Carnitas/Asada burrito and it was yummy! Stuffed full of meat and steaming hot! The chips & salsa was also very good and the salsa seemed home made to me.
