Highly recommend. Done in or take out. Nice drive to North main st west Hartford before heading to Avon CT. In shopping plaza too. Food is great and fresh and and everything is delicious .
The Cilantro Lime Aioli or Vinaigrette is top notch. I will go there again and again only for that.
And the staffs are very polite as well. Will definitely recommend my friends and family members!
Would definitely go back.
Wrong. I got three crunchy beef tacos that were, at best, 1/4 filled with beef. There was a sprinkling of cheese and enough lettuce to fill the remainder of the shells. The flavor of the beef tasted so much like Old El Paso that, well, let’s just say they may have made a quick run to the store for a packet of seasoning.
It’s not that Old El Paso tastes bad, it’s just that at $15 for THREE tacos, you expect more. Consider the fact that you can buy an Old El Paso taco kit and a pound of beef and make SIX tacos for less than they charge for three, and you start to see the problem here.
Look, everything costs a fortune these days. I get it. But this is too much. Five dollars per for a boring taco that wasn’t even filled with beef is a travesty.
So for my meal I went with the tacos, you get 3. Just like other places you can load it up with whatever you want, I went with Spanish rice, black beans to start. For meats I tried 3 different kinds, one for each taco, so I got Baja chicken, BBQ shredded beef and then Achiote Pulled Pork. To finish off the tacos I added shredded cheese, corn salsa, medium green salsa and some sour cream. All of the tacos were very good, each of the meats had a different but very good flavor, plus they were quite filling. The chips were also good, and you can add on guacamole for extra if you would like something more to dip your chips in.
For drinks they have some bottle drinks, boxed chocolate/vanilla milks and juice for the kids and they also have some very good Sugar Cane Boylan fountain sodas!
Overall the flavors for everything was very good, so if you like fast food style Mexican food, this will definitely be something for you to try.
The tacos & quesadilas, with a variety of meats and toppings, were fresh tasting, and seemed seasoned slightly different than we were expecting -which means better than expected- for fast food. Veggies all appeared fresh and tasted that way. They use natural ingredients and high quality meats here and you can tell..
They also have Hosmer soda in their machine, which is a definite upgrade from the normal dispenser options.
