First and last visit. My family of four, (2 adults, 2 children)ordered pizza and a cheese steak. Pizza tasted like a cheap box pizza. Husband said the cheese steak was horrible. The waitress is clearly content with her paycheck and nothing more. The waitress brought the food out. She brought us five plates. The bottom plate had a dead fly on the rim. She walks towards the kitchen area with two of the five plates she brought to the table. Then there were flies swooping in on our food and drinks. We covered our food and drinks with napkins, after several attempts to shoo them away. When the waitress finally made her way back to our section, we discretely told her about the flies. We asked if there was anything that could be done about the flies. (My boys had an appointment and we spent most of our available time there trying to get food, so I was trying to be patient and understanding of the situation.) The waitress says no and asked if we wanted boxes. I told her yes to the boxes and requested to go cups, as she walks away from us saying “yeah boxes”. There was no attempt to ease our concern. She never came to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. The waitress came back with boxes, cups, and the bill. I will just add this restaurant to my growing list of bad experiences. Would not recommend.

I really used to love this place . But recently, I can’t say I do. I found an eyelash extension baked into my pizza and a long black hair on my garlic knots. I was soo disgusted, couldn’t finish my slice threw my while pizza pie away.

I placed an order for pick up yesterday, 5/28. The calzone was very good. I was disappointed with the service I received. I was told my food would take 20 minutes. I arrived, paid, and tipped. I was told to wait a few more minutes for my food. I waited about 25 minutes longer for my food. I was not offered a seat or given an update. I just stood there like an idiot waiting. People came and left with their food. It was just annoying, and i wasn’t feeling well. The food was good, but the kitchen took longer than expected to cook the food. At least give an update, offer water, or a seat.

We did an online order. Paid for it everything fine. We were following the app to see when the driver would pick up. Said between 7 and 8 it would arrive. Fine. Around 830 husband calls. A girl answers laughing and cutting up. Says it’s on way. Fine. Driver gets here we are missing half our order. Their ticket says 50 dollars but our bank account says 116. Driver was nice enough to call and figure out girl cutting up didn’t even put order in right or something. So now half the house is eating and other half is waiting on food. There needs to be a manage or somebody there at all times making sure people do their job right. Will never order from this sals again. Very unprofessional.

I used to enjoy coming here a few years ago before they changed their name to IL Paesano. With the name change, it seems that alot has changed too. The pizza doesn’t taste the same or as good as it used to be, and also one of the girls taking orders over the phone does not understand the type of food that is on the menu. I wanted a Quattro Formaggio pizza with breaded chicken. Well, according to this employee, they only had shredded chicken, (not even grilled chicken). I was confused because chicken parm among other dishes is made with breaded chicken, or fried chicken, or crispy chicken, or whatever you want to consider it. Very sad since this place USED to have the closest thing to New York pizza in the area. Overall experience had me bummed. I think I’ll go to Sals Pizza on Main St. from now on. Hopefully they are still good.

Atmosphere was good and food smelled and looked amazing!
CUSTOMER SERVICE ….as we entered we were told to seat ourselves…the of two us sat a the only booth that was available but the table was dirty so I stood up until the waitress arrived which took about 5 mins…ERIN (light green shirt on Saturday night 22 Feb 25)…was serving the couple behind us…and what appeared to be her section that we were seated in…she came back to areas twice before asking was something wrong… not asking if I needed service…I stated that the table was dirty and it needed cleaning…
She said someone would clean the table when they get a chance…or there are other tables that you can say at that are clean but they were all high top tables that we did not want to say at…NOW! She had a towel/rag on her side and could have quickly wiped the table just so we could be seated properly but yet she turned and walked away and asked the guy setting at the game if he needed anything???
Her tone and the way she walked away was one of customer service that was unacceptable!
I was soo looking forward to eating the food b/c I was looking compare the restaurant, food and service to Gino’s in Virginia Beach!
No where near the exceptional service as what Gino’s pizza provides!
Thanks Gino’s for showing me what a GREAT Pizza restaurant is suppose to be!

Love coming here. It’s been one of our main go-to’s every few weeks. Food is always great, staff is always very friendly and helpful. Our last visit, our hoagie rolls felt a bit stale sadly, but everything else was great.
