Sal’s is the best pizza in Hanover, PA, and it’s not even close. This place is the best all-around from the swift service, to the friendly staff. Can’t speak highly enough about this business. Been loyal to Sal’s for about three years now and wouldn’t change it for the world. Prices are always fair, regardless of the fluctuating economy. Thanks for the best pizza, Sal ️

Will never be returning to this location, nobody can seem to get their prices straight. Looked on the website, website says it was 1099 for a large cheese pizza on a Thursday night. Get to the store oh it’s 1199, look at my receipt it says it’s 14.30

We moved to Hanover in 1989 and Jerry & Sals was always our go-to pizza. When it changed to just Sal’s, it was still the same and tasted delicious. I moved away over ten years ago and rarely get to have Sal’s but whenever I do, it’s just not the same. The crust is thicker and never crispy, it is overloaded with cheese that slips off, and there are no spices like there used to be. It’s still tastes okay but it’s totally different.

The food is actually pretty good, however, I will say that the dining room legitimately looks as if it has not been updated since the mid 90’s with booth seats being taped, extremely sunken in and just over all terrible condition. Although the food was good, based on the condition of what the owner willingly shows the customers in the dining area, im all but certain that we would all CRINGE at what happens behind the scenes and isn’t available for us to see.

I’ve been ordering decently regularly. Really been enjoying it, all until today. I ordered at 6:35 and I got my food at 7:30 which was a good bit longer than usual but I don’t get upset about food taking a good bit when it’s worth it. But the burnt chicken tenders I got didn’t really make it worth it. I don’t even want the rest of my food. I don’t know what changed but they’re literally inedible and hard.

Really disappointed in the customer service I received tonight. I ordered a Sicilian pizza, asked for a lite amount of sauce and ham. The person was confused about the lite sauce request, I explained and repeated my order to ensure it was correct. Once I received my order, the pizza had ricotta on it. If I liked ricotta, it wouldn’t have been an issue but I don’t so I called back to the store. The person who answered the phone was very sweet and helpful. There was another women (person who is on the recording when you call) in the background huffing and puffing about having to redo the order. She also stated that they would be picking up the original pizza and I shouldn’t except to keep it. I don’t care that they want to pick up the pizza. It was the tone and rudeness that come with the comment. I didn’t even bring up the fact that I was charged for the ricotta topping. I know many people probably take advantage and mistakes happen but it just could have been handled with more kindness. I have been a customer of Sals all my life. I will think twice before calling the next time.

Wings were suprisingly delicious, cheese steak, not so much. The wings were super crispy and pretty large, dry wings but top notch crunch and flavor! The cheese steak was very dry, lacked all toppings except lettuce where there was way too much. Where is the cheese, tomato, onions, peppers, mayo??? I asked for it to be loaded with everything. Also asked for hot sauce and dude said ok, once we got the food and asked where the hot sauce was he said they don’t carry hot sauce? Say that on the phone then, I was at the grocery store and would have bought some! Threw half of the cheesesfeak away, it just wasn’t that good. Should have just doubled up on the wings!
