Large 3 topping was so good, even the crust. Large is an awesome size with 4 leftover pieces. Highly recommend! Pleasant and efficient service.

Sal’s Pizza at 296 S Willow St in Manchester, NH was extremely underwhelming. I was there at prime lunch hour and there was only one other guy there. I can see why. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with extra sauce and a fountain drink. The drink area was dirty and both the soda machine and ice tea machine were malfunctioning. Only water flowed from the ice tea machine and the mix was completely off on the soda machine. The pizza came, delivered to the table by a pleasant, young guy, and I added plenty of parm and oregano, Neither of which could save this pizza. It really was not good. The sauce was sour, the cheese was tasteless and the bread was way too thick for my liking. It needed salt and pepper to add at least some flavor to it, but they weren’t offered. The tomatoes tasted like metal. It was awful. I brought the leftover home for the hubs to taste and he gave it two thumbs down. If this is how all of the Sal’s taste, I would never go there.

We typically LOVE Sal’s. Today we ordered a large cheese for delivery via DoorDash and it was not great at all. It honestly seemed like they changed their recipe? I don’t remember them using cornmeal in the past. Very crunchy and super dry. Hardly any sauce and the cheese was dry, crunchy, and overcooked. Hopefully this was a one-off!

Entire pizza and box covered in cornmeal. Tasted like I was eating a sandy pizza. Part of the pizza was cooked and the other half was undercooked. Sauce barely had any flavor. The 5 pounds of cornmeal is not needed and disgusting

How were they able to keep up with just two people while they were so busy, especially with take out? We had a reasonable wait for our pizza and a young fellow, who wiped down our table, brought our pizza to us with paper plates. He did forget the napkins but gave us some while tending to other customers.
Everyone liked the pizza, even my finicky daughter. I’m not a fan of pizza anymore but I did like this one. Prices are high. I am with Sal’s Pizza rewards program and I had a discount.
Inside of Sal’s was decent. Whoever owns the building needs someone to clean up the parking ️ lot.
Only issue, the music was very loud .
Update: December 2024; Ordered online and had a discount from the website. . My order was ready when I arrived. The volume was better. The BBQ Chicken Wings were actually good . Get a lot of napkins because the wings are messy! 🙂

I called in on a very busy day at 3:30 and asked to have my pizzas ready to be picked up my pizzas at 5:20. I was paid up, and leaving with my food at 5:23. Amazing, considering how busy they were and they had to time my pizzas in between other orders as they came in! Very pleased with the crew on Halloween night!

They had a special for small pizzas at half price. I bought a bunch of them and paid the tip up front I should have waited because I didn’t know that the half price pizza meant I’d only get half the toppings. Plus the crust was so hard I thought I was going to chip a tooth…

My wife and I went here for the first time just recently and have been pleasantly surprised with everything from the food, the prices to the wonderful Braelyn at the counter. Even when we called 20 minutes before closing she was polite and helpful. Keep it up Sals!
