This was my first time trying Sal’s pizza. I ordered a 14” stuffed pizza – half cheese half sausage and mushrooms. I had not eaten pizza in over a month (good pizza in over six months) and this really hit the spot!
The dough in the crust is crispy but soft, almost like a pretzel (just the texture not the flavor). There was just enough cheese and plenty of sauce on top. Kind of reminds me of a grandma style pizza (cooked in a pan, buttery crust, rectangle cut with the sauce on top and cheese underneath). I normally add oregano, finely chopped fresh garlic and a drizzle of olive oil to my pizza no matter where I get it from, but Sal’s is flavorful without it. Best pizza for miles and the Italians running it are nice.

The lady who took our order was super kind and passionate, she was real helpful with us putting in our order in person and the food came out absolutely amazing we got a 16 inch large cheese and limoncello cake and both were a little taste of Italy

Sal’s… Best pizza in Kenosha!! There I said it!! We did the stuffed pizza again, we’re in heaven it is so good! Everything there is so good homemade too Like your nonna is making it for you! The whole staff is so nice and friendly too!

Ordered a thin crust with extra cheese and my goooodness it was good ! It had some garlic taste to the cheese and it was perfect. Different from other pizzas here in the best way possible. We’ll definitely be here more. Only been a day and I’m craving it again lol

Sal’s Pizza is a local family-owned restaurant. Their dining area has approximately 9 tables. It is clean and inviting. There is another room that can seat almost any size group. Very cozy and nice place. The food is great. I’m not a big pizza person but I love Sal’s Pizza. It’s absolutely perfect. Now the thing about Sal’s is the family and employees that work there they are friendly, inviting and they go out of their way to make you happy. This is just a great Kenosha restaurant.

Really enjoyed the pizza. Good crust, sauce and the right amount of cheese. Not a fan of the Italian Beef – it wasn’t bad but the meat reminded me too much of the kind you get in the frozen food section of the grocery store. Great bread tho. Skip the beef and get pizza.

We recently used Sal’s Pizza for our wedding late night snack. The food was phenomenal and people could not get enough of it!! Their pizza has always been a local favorite of ours and we couldn’t imagine not sharing it with our family and friends on our big day. They even delivered at close so we could serve it immediately when it was delivered. Whether it’s a family night dinner or an event, we highly recommend their pizza. We will be lifetime customers.
