My first review on anything. My wife and I started going to Sals last year and we just came from dinner tonight.
Sals is run by a wonderful family who genuinely are happy every time we show up.
Food is great and a lot is homemade. Grandma makes the desserts so save room.
Please try Sals. You’ll love it!

Constructive Criticism
Almost a good experience….server should have told us about the specials. I really wanted steak but didn’t see the steak special written on the black board as my back was turned away from it. Had to choose the ribs instead. They were nothing to brag about, plain and boring. The baked potatoe was under cooked and hard. I asked for more bbq sauce and it came in a small cup COLD. I think if the chef just tried a little harder the meal could have been very good, instead the meal was subpar. This restaurant has potential but to succeed, every detail needs to be perfect

Went there with my mother and son last night. Walking in, it was very clean and kept, busy and was seated right away. Salad bar was full, clean and what you would be looking for if you wanted a salad bar. I had the baby back ribs. They were tender and cooked to perfection. Wait staff was on it and cleared plates efficiently, personable and gave exceptional service. Will definitely be back!! Wish I could give more stars.

Found this place and came in expecting the same mediocre bar food but was so very pleasantly surprised. First, I was greeted by the most wonderful local family that got to know us and took the time to make us feel like family. They even celebrated my kiddos birthday out of no where. Then, on top of that the food was delicious. Best fish sandwich and french fries I’ve had. All homemade with love. Grateful to have found this place, and will be stopping again anytime I can. Thank you

Keep on driving. Low grade steak, rock hard, over cooked shrimp, lousy salad bar, waited 15 minutes to add a baked potato to my order. Server was over eager to begin and then disappeared! This place has been whooped up by the locals so we gave it a try. One and DONE! I enjoyed my McDonald’s big mac the night before much more, and I don’t eat fast food!

New owners reinvented this place about a year ago from what we understand was a bistro that didn’t make it. They are a local family, have a farm up the road and the beef is from there.
A good place for locals and people who frequent the area, we were definitely strangers among the group and we were welcomed by the owners and patrons alike, just like having walked into a place that we have frequented many times prior.
The people who run and work there are super friendly and really outgoing. The food was very good, the french fries were ridiculous… in an amazing way!!
Beer was ice cold and had a small but wide ranging selection. If you’re looking for a good old Wisconsin style old fashioned sweet, it was very good as well.
I would recommend that if you’re trying to figure out where you want to go when visiting the Cumberland area, don’t hesitate to stop here. Just a few miles further up the road and well worth it!!

Great local place for dinner! Try Moo burger was unique and delicious, the waffle fries had great crunch and seasoning, awesome non-grease cheese curds, and solid wings!

Last night we had the best tasting burgers ever! The “Philly on 63” and the “Olive & Swiss”. Locally grown beef can’t be beat!
It was our first visit since reopening with new owners. The place was hopping! The staff was great and super friendly and we met the owners. We’ve been cabin owners near Barronett for almost 20yrs and we plan to be regulars at Sal’s on 63. The best burgers in town by far! Can’t wait to order more from their menu. The other dishes we saw being served looked great as well. We heard other folks praising the food as well. Highly recommended. 5 stars!!!
