I saw so many one star reviews for this place and for the life of me can’t figure out why. One thing the bad reviews seemed to have in common was having issues with delivery from the apps. Put those reviews on the app, people–they don’t belong here. If my wife hadn’t brought home leftovers from a work lunch I never would’ve thought this place was good bc of the <4 Star review average.
This pizza is one-of-a-kind for this area. The crust is real NY/NJ style and the thing it gets right is that, while thin, it’s somehow never soggy, and it has a great, doughy texture. The only ‘za nearby I can think of that’s even close is the Anna’s in Hilton, and even there the crust collapses under its own weight, esp when reheating.
So far I’ve had their pepperoni, their plain cheese, and their Hawaiian–all excellent. Pictured is the Hawaiian. I’ll admit the pizza doesn’t look amazing, but it smells amazing, and it tastes even better.

I ordered a grilled Caesar salad to be door dashed. Sals made an awesome salad and didn’t leave out any of the veggies I requested on top and were plentiful with portions. I don’t leave reviews very often but this is the first time in years I’ve felt inclined to leave one without being asked to. Wanted to go out of my way to let the people know they got an awesome salad.

My daughter wanted to get me a dinner for my birthday . Sals subs are my fav, but last night was horrible. My bread was hard and burnt as was the meat. They out peppers on my daughters PLAIN hoagie The garlic rolls were also also burnt. The marinara sauce was like water, so hard to use on my cheese sticks bc it jus made the cheese stick wet. So needless to say i was very disappointed on ny birthday. I was gna call this am but jus didnt feel like arguing. All though I have the food to show them bc I only ate half my hoagie. Even my fries were fried hard, not something I enjoy at my age. Jus again so disappointed Sals. Birthday dinner disaster

I have been to Sal’s NY Style Pizza several times for lunch. The prices and the portions are wonderful and the service is quick. On my last visit I had the lamb gyro combo and it was really good.

Unwanted Commentary
Buffalo Chicken Pizza 18’ $19.52 in total. Waited a couple of minutes when I was there. Over all the service was fast. Not my personal favorite. Crust was good, maybe if I would’ve ordered different toppings. The pizza was really big though. Did give me a mayonnaise flavor under the cheese, not what I was expecting.

Pizza’s are NYS. For real. The Spegetti is good , but not enough Meatballs & they sham on the sauce. I ask for extra they seem like they gave me less. So if you want ex. Ask for on the side., then you can enjoy the dish / ex. MB

We got pizza by the slice, and they were very generous with toppings, as well as the size of the slice. The crust is a little on the crunchy side, but may not be for whole pizzas. The overall quality was mixed, with the veggies and chicken being fresh and really good, but the sausage was the common kind that always reminds me of kibble.
Price was good, and service was ok. The staff seemed bored, but then made thoughtful offers, such as them cutting my little one’s slice into smaller pieces before serving.
The menu is solid, with plenty of pizza, pasta, burgers, subs, salads, wings, etc… They also have a variety of cheesecakes for dessert.
The dining area is small, and somewhat loud, but serviceable. It fits what it is well.
Overall, it is a good pizza place. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I have been to a ton of small pizza places, and there is a lot of tight competition. I will be back.

New in town from Philly and based on reviews I gave this place a try and was not disappointed! Ordered fries and a Greek style pizza and added fried eggplant to one half and it was delish! Thanks to the cashier for helping me out with that tip blunder I’ll be ordering from you all again for sure !
