I don’t know what happened tonight but I’m very disappointed in my delivery order. I ordered a pizza and I guess it was okay but wasn’t very hot when I got it (I live 2 mins driving). I also ordered 10 wings which I asked to be crispy not only were they not crispy but one wing had the biggest feather I’ve seen on a piece of chicken(see pic below)..they also forgot my ranch which I paid extra for 🙁 and then lastly the biggest disappointment the “parm fries” ..I think the picture speaks for itself. I’ll take the L this time but i definitely won’t be back.

Sal’s is not a fancy place, but it is comfortable and very clean with GREAT food. My wife even likes the restaurant! I am a really big fan of their calzones – see attached picture of 1. Add an ice cold beer and I am a happy customer! Many locations to choose from and all the ones I have been to are consistently good.

I ordered pizza, wings and fried mozzarella to go. The website says 30 minutes for pick up which is normal. I get there within 20 minutes and our food was ready. Unfortunately, the food was very cold. I solely blame myself for not getting there within 10 minutes.

While I arrived, two waiters were standing there having a personal conversation and did not acknowledge my presence at all. Once their conversation was done, one of them walked right by me and didn’t say a word nor make eye contact. Finally, another waiter said “if you are picking up, they’ll help you back there.” I was not greeted at all and the professionalism was non existent. A simple, “Welcome to Sal’s, will you be dining in or carrying out would suffice.” I worked in the food industry years ago and that is usually the standard greeting when someone walks into your establishment. Thankfully, the male at the counter giving me my order greeted me and was nice.

Not only was everything cold in our order but the pizza barely had cheese on it. None of the food except the wings were very appetizing. I have never ordered here before and I figured I would give them a try. I will never go back here and I would definitely rather grab pizza from Dominos down the street that is always hot, always fresh and never over $50 for my order for just two people. This restaurant was also pretty empty and I can see why business is slow.

Very friendly staff. Good service. Portions are massive. Great bang for buck. The salad was very fresh. Food was good. It’s a nice Italian joint for a family to go to or order takeout from. I will be coming again with my family or even do takeout as well. I’ve been looking for this type of Italian restaurant and ones I find in South FL are either way too pricey for just wanting a simple family dinner or the ones that are lower priced just stink and food is just total garbage. Not here. Good portions, simple, good for the fam and priced very fairly.

We catered for my moms birthday for about 20 people. We had lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert. There was plenty of food that we had leftovers for a couple days. The lasagna was one of the best catered meals I’ve personally had and overall everyone loved it. I would recommend Sals for catering for anyone that would like a great meal at a great price. Also, their pizza is phenomenal as well!

Placed an order for delivery on 07/27/2025, spent $77.27 and had specific instructions with the ordering of both a Large Pizza AND a Steak n Cheese Sub to PLEASE NO BELL PEPPERS on either. They got the no peppers on the pizza, but FAILED to NOT put BELL PEPPERS on the Steak Sub. It’s a REALLY GOOD THING I’m not allergic to them. What is the purpose of placing specific instructions into the comments (in multiple places) if they’re going to just be ignored! And this is the first time I’ve ever ordered any kind of sub from them, but it was soooooo extremely greasy that it was inedible!!! WHAT A WASTE OF $18.50!!!!
The bread of the sub was completely soaked through with grease that you couldn’t even pick up the sub to eat it! Went right into the trash can! Not to mention that when you place a HOT SUB into an aluminum to go container, that it “SWEATS” due to it being hot, that it ALSO makes the sub soggy and inedible!
What a disappointment. Also, the pizza was overcooked and made the bottom of pie and crust “chewy”.
I probably will not be back to Sal’s and it’s a shame that they don’t take pride in both their name and their food!!! I guess there’s no quality control to check the food prior to sending it out to the customer.
After seeing and reading numerous bad reviews in the past 6 months to a year, it’s a surprise that they haven’t closed down!!
Maybe they should…. either that or revamp both their employees and quality control!!!
**If you look at the attached photo, you can clearly see that there are BELL PEPPERS on the sub as well as it’s basically SWIMMING in grease at the bottom of the container!!

I’ve been ordering from Sal’s Pizza in Wellington for almost two years and never really checked my receipts… until now. Big mistake trusting them.

The other night I ordered 10 wings and, for the first time, looked at my receipt. I was shocked to see I was charged $40.00 for 10 wings. When I called to ask why, I was told it was because I requested them “extra crispy.” Then I was basically rushed off the phone.

The next day, my wife called to place the same order. Coincidentally, it turned out to be the owner’s wife who answered. She quoted her $19.25 total and explained there was only a $2 upcharge for extra crispy — which makes the $40 charge the night before make absolutely no sense.

We have the entire phone call recorded on our home camera system, where she admits it was either a “glitch in the system” or blamed it on the girl who took the order. She offered a $25 gift certificate instead of a refund.

After that, I checked my bank statements (could only go back one year) and realized I ordered the same items over 27 times. Now I can’t help but wonder how many times I was overcharged without noticing — and how many other customers this might be happening to.

I was told I would get a call back about this situation. I’m still waiting.

Between the inconsistent pricing, excuses, and lack of accountability, this place has completely lost my trust. This whole experience feels dishonest and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning.

On tonight’s episode of Sal’s Screwed Up, I present to you….an expensive Philly Cheesesteak with no cheese and very little steak!!!

I love their food, but I cannot give them five stars because their delivery game sucks. They are always messing up my orders, like forgetting the pasta with a Chicken Parm. They also forget the sides and rolls, which sucks because Rotellis never does, but I like Sal’s more. Come on guys. Always double check before you send out an order. That’s Pizza Joint 101.

I won’t be ordering from there anymore. Rotellis it is!

Walking in we were met with a harsh scent of stale bread and dust. The AC was leaking onto tables and even dripped onto the guests I was with. Floors beneath the table were sticky and the paper table covers only seemed to make the dining experience more damp (which added to the drinks that the server accidentally spilled onto the menu, table, and floor). The cheese from the cheese calzone was tastless, had the consistency of Elmore’s glue and smelled very strongly of pepper. Alfredo pasta took a long time to come out and was very overcooked. Debris fell from the cieling light and into my drink which was an immediate turn off to any trust for the sanitation of anything in the restuarant. Our server however was very lovely and apologetic for everything. We were compensated for all issues we experienced however I doubt we will be returning. Mama Mia

Going Places
Walked in to a foul smell of sewage. Wanted to leave, but it was a new place for us, so we were giving it a shot. It wasn’t busy and it was self seating. The waiter was really nice and good with table service and know the menu. The food we ordered was garlic rolls (they looked and tasted good, but were similar to ones bought at Walmart), a meat lovers pizza (are whole party disliked it due to sauce and breading, the meat tasted normal, nothing special), chicken ceasar wrap (Just like a chicken ceasar salad, but nothing special. I did bite into a tiny piece of bone from the chicken and her my tooth though), soup tasted good (but nothing new, tasted like every other from other restaurant), and the Tiramisu (We really liked the big portion and it tasted good, but not like an actual Tiramisu).
Overall, our waiter was friendly and on point, but the food was not, and the cleanliness of the table itself was good, but everywhere else was not (it was really unclean, especially the walls). Recommendation wise, I would not recommend this place to anyone because of the food and atmosphere, the waiter was fantastic though.
