We had a wonderful meal at Sal’s Italian Bistro on our first visit, and what a find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. You can truly taste the flavor from the high quality ingredients used in every dish. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of authentic Italian flavor. This is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the kind of spot you want to linger and enjoy your meal. Our server was incredibly pleasant and attentive from the moment she greeted us until the time we left. She struck the perfect balance of being warm, helpful, and present without ever hovering.
If you are a foodie, put Sal’s on your list. It is worth the drive even if you are not a local. After just one visit, it is already a place we look forward to returning to.

Best meal by far we’ve had traveling up from Florida. Nicest staff by far our server Khia was so nice. Everyone treated us like regulars. The food, fried shrimp and Cannelloni were fantastic, salads delicious and olive oil for dipping fresh bread. pink lemonade Great prices / big delicious portions. Hopefully stopping in November on our way home.

Ordered the calamari, side of fettuccine Alfredo, and the seafood combo with salmon. The calamari was absolutely amazing and worth the price! I ended up taking the seafood combo in a box because everything else was so delicious. This place is the real deal!

We live about 45 minutes from Edinburg and have had trouble finding good places to eat. We are so happy we discovered Sal’s. We went for lunch without a reservation and had no trouble getting a table. The food is FANTASTIC and we got great service. I had spaghettini with arrabiata sauce and my husband had the sausage and peppers sub. Both were amazing and the portions were very generous. I fully expected to have some left over to take home, but it was so good, I just kept eating until it was gone. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other build-your-own pasta combinations. We spent $37, which, unfortunately, these days, is not a huge sum for a meal for two. We don’t eat out much because it’s so expensive, but this time, I really felt like we got our money’s worth and more! Well done, Sal’s!

Great dinner with friends at Sal’s last night. Super friendly staff that was very attentive however didn’t rush us through dinner. The fresh salad and warm dinner rolls was a wonderful start to our pasta and pork tenderloin main course. Hearty portions means I’m not cooking dinner the next day.

My family and I found this incredible gem on a whim during our last evening spent at the Getaway House Outpost. We couldn’t have been more delighted! Tracy, our server was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and the food was AMAZING! You know a dish is excellent when you’re full and can not stop eating it! Will definitely visit again when we return to the area.

We tried Sal’s Bistro for the first time. We ordered pizza and fries to eat in the diningroom. Our meals was prepared perfectly! However while sitting there i could see some amazing looking dishes coming out of the kitchen i was rethinking my decision to order pizza. The dining room was clean the waitress was extremely friendly and professional. Very reasonably priced. I absolutely recommend eating here.

I have been wanting to have dinner here for a long time. I haven’t been there for over 10 yrs. I was not disappointed! I ordered Chicken Marsala. Best I ever had. Looking forward to my leftovers. Service was friendly and atmosphere was great.

I recently ordered a large pan of lasagna, salad, and dinner rolls for a meeting. Of the folks present, 14 enjoyed dinner.
I ordered it the day prior to be picked up atb6pm the following day. The food was absolutely hot and ready to when I arrived. They helped me to load everything into my vehicle without hesitation. Our dinner was absolutely great. The salad was fresh, crisp, and tasty. The lasagna, you have to go there try it. Extremely flavorful, hot, and fresh!
Definitely going back! I’m sorry, we ate everything and didn’t take the time for a picture…
