We brought an Iraqi friend to this food truck, and he confirmed that the food is authentic. It’s absolutely delicious, and the falafel and baklava are the best I’ve ever had. Sal and his son have excellent customer service, and even though the covered patio is next to Glenwood, it’s not too noisy for having a conversation while eating. We highly recommend this place.

I was throughly impressed with the food, the service, absolutely everything about this place. I couldn’t make my mind up on what to get but Sal Sr. showed me some dishes he was preparing. I ordered the chicken sharwarma plate. It was delicious and flavorful. The portions were big. You definitely get your money’s worth. If you’re in the area you should stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty cool to see a father and son working together making delicious food. Sal jr was incredibly nice and cheerful! Had a smile on his face and was happy to take my order and offer some insights on what was good. Even gave me a free dessert cause it was my 1st time there.

Some of the best food I’ve had. Not only are the portions huge for the prices, but everything was fresh and filling in the best way. Sal Jr was incredibly friendly and even gave us free baklava which was absolutely delicious. Eating here made me want to boycott all fast food and eat local for the rest of my life.

Don’t miss this restaurant by driving by as it is the back half of a building with a car dealership up front on Fairview Avenue. Actually, it is hard to miss with the bright green siding and red roof. Be sure to park only in the designated restaurant spaces. The interior was quite well decorated, clean and organized. The art, videos and music all are appropriately matched to the cuisine, as well.
I doubt that you could go wrong with anything on the menu as all of our choices were outstanding. Everything is freshly homemade, or I should say store-made. They welcome you in with a generous bowl of lentil soup (free) that is extremely delicious and definitely teases the appetite. The touch of sumac on the hot french fries was a huge hit! Several sauces accompany every dish. Be sure to try their tahini (sesame butter, light & loose) as well as their garlic sauce. If you are feeling adventurous, definitely go for the amba or hot sauce. See something that you have never heard of before? Go for it! You will not be disappointed.
If you are seeking a genuine Middle Eastern-Iraqi experience with great fresh made food in a friendly, clean restaurant, then you have found your five-star location.

We came here for dinner and were not disappointed! The shawarma dishes (both chicken and beef) tasted amazing. Sal and his dad obviously take great pride in their food and you can absolutely taste it. The baklava was exceptional!

I had lunch here today and it was awesome! Sal is a very sweet, caring man. They have some tables set up next to the food truck and it was very peaceful. I enjoyed the food and it was nice to have the cars going past in the background. I recommend you trying it!! Yum!
