Every pizzeria in my opinion needs to have 2 things that make them a go to spot, my preference are the pizza and wings. Both of which at Sals have made me happy they’ve come to the neighborhood, and with no lies told the margarita pizza and both buffalo and garlic parm wings SLAP. Also a strong mention on the quality of the wings dressings both seem to be homemade, I can’t stress enough how pleasing it is to not be given that packet dressings you get in many other pizzerias. Sal’s gets my vote, official.

Sal’s Pizza and Deli in Clifton NJ is off to a great start!!! Got my first order and it was absolutely excellent!!! White pie with fresh ricotta, slices tomato and fresh basil, crust was light and crisp, no flop, not greasy, just perfect!!

Loving our new local pizzeria/deli. They have a huge menu. Definitely something for everyone. I’ve had various items off the menu already and so far….this Margherita pizza is at the top of my list. Next is going to be anything vodka sauce related. Welcome to Clifton! Close to work and home. So happy!

First time ordering from here and while overall while would have been a tasty pie unfortunately it was quite burnt. I am honestly surprised they still sent it out this way. We will give it one more try before we write it off as a no go.

No Stars but I had to put 1 in order to post this review! Pizza was burnt and not cut properly. You can smell the acid from the sauce. Spent $36 dollars on a burnt, cut wrong pizza and a so called Italian sandwich that was not nearly what an Italian sub is supposed to be. No oil n vinegar or oregano. All the hype for nothing and not worth it! Just drive up a little more to Clifton Village or Ameti’s to save the heartburn it was just disgusting and the service was terrible! I will never go back again!
