Sal’s is a family owned and operated bar and restaurant located in Stillwater, just outside of Withrow. We proudly cook all of our food from scratch, from our delicious chicken wild rice soup, to our slow-cooked, fall of the bone ribs. Our tap list is ever changing, including delicious seasonal beers, to local favorites. With a warm, log cabin feel inside, and a rustic woodsy feel on our patio. We are located right next to train tracks, that makes people of all ages excited to feel the rumble of the train as it passes by. Stop in for dinner and a cocktail, and meet our incredible staff! The food was so good and very filling! We went on a Friday night and didn’t realize how busy it would be — definitely make a reservation if you’re going in the evening. Our server was very sweet, even with how packed it was. It did take a little longer for the food to come out, and the open layout makes it pretty loud, but we still enjoyed our experience.

We had never been here so thought we’d give it a try. For the most part it’s s nice place. The food was so so. Wife ordered potpie I had prime rib . My dinner was pretty good, only thing is the ausjus should have more seasoning(hint kitchen bouquet). Wild rice soup was good, but a tad too salty. Wife’s dinner had to be sent back as the inside was mushy and not edible. She ended up getting the wings. The manager was great, she apologized and made things right.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. Was very impressed with Sarah our waitress, she made us feel very comfortable. Food came out hot starting with one of the best Chicken Wild Rice soups I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the filet medallions and I had the ribeye. We asked to have them charred and medium, came out perfect. I had the Portabella mushrooms and a loaded baked potato along with their famous green beans. Atmosphere interior walls were log cabin logs which made it feel cozy. Prices are very fair. Definitely going back! Thank you Sal and team.

We stopped by for lunch and ordered a couple of apps. Both apps were good. The bull bites were tasty and the sauce had some decent flavor. I would say the chicken nachos looked a little better than they tasted. Overall it was a good experience and I will go back again. P.S. I also had a very tasty Margareta. Great family friendly place. Good food and very friendly staff. What an amazing find out in the middle of nowhere, but for some people, they know it as their favorite supper club. Locals flock here on a regular basis. we were delighted to have a Sunday meal with amazing ambiance. Nice big high ceilings felt like you’re in a big open log cabin. it’s 10 minutes from 694 and Highway 36

We go to Sal’s anytime we want a good meal and great service. I always get broiled shrimp which are large and moist. Their salads are tasty as well and my friend said it was the best burger she ever had.

The food was fantastic. The steak medallions were tender and delicious and the fried chicken was very tasty. Our server was pretty snotty. As I told her I wanted the fried chicken, she told me that I shouldn’t do that. That she’s had it sent back a few times for not being very good. She went on to explain that they buy it, once it gets there, they freeze it and then when it’s ordered they flash fry it. Lady did you just hear yourself?! You just told me not to order food and that your food sucks. Awesome.

Is in a very quiet and nice area ! And the food is delicious! Winter is coming and you would like to stop by and watch your favorite sport on TV and listening to music and meet people . It’s family friendly. The portions are good and is worth the price:)

I sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer and club sandwich. The club sandwich was delicious as were their fries. Service was great, loved the log cabin feel and old time photos. My only complaint would be people smoke right outside the front door and I could smell it while I was eating… not sure if it comes in through the door or an air intake.

Great food, wonderful service! Very happy with our time there but watch out for the fried onion appetizer. We had no idea how big of an order we were getting!
