Salmon River Brewery makes award winning craft beer using using as many local and regional ingredients as possible. We are a family friendly restaurant with rooftop & patio dining in the summer that features some of the best views in McCall. In the winter, we have an outdoor fire pit to warm your bones after a day at one of our local ski resorts or flying through powder on your snowmobile. Find us in McCall’s old train depot above the Hotel McCall’s courtyard, next to Legacy Park and Payette Lake. We offer a full restaurant menu in addition to our extensive beer & wine selection, which features a rotating variety of Salmon River Brewery creations as well as numerous guest taps. We look forward to seeing you at the Pub or Taphouse!

Always a good spot for the beer and their cocktails. The view outside is fantastic, overlooking the lake. The staff is very attentive and quick to suggest a beer to pair with the food. On that note, the food is not as good as one would expect. The only dish that is excellent is the cheese curds, those are to die for. The elk burger is alright. The beer is definitely good, their dragon milk I believe is called is their stout and it’s fantastic.

Smaller restaurant with a cool vibe. I had never eaten here before so I was curious to what they offered. They had a great selection. I was recommended the Tacos but the chicken was a bit dry. My wife got a wrap and that was super tasty. Looks like they have a huge selection of drinks even though we didn’t get one. Hospitality was spot on. We loved our waitress. She did a phenomenal job. I think if I would’ve gotten something different I may have had a better experience. Other than the dry chicken it was good. I would come back to try something else.

The heart of downtown McCall, 2 seconds from public beach, good food, good beer, whats not to like?!?! We had a great time on their lower patio on Labor day weekend this year. The staff were very attentive and friendly even though they had a big wedding party they were setting up for. The downstairs bar and patio seating were simple.and straight forward, a little nicer than sitting in the restaurant tbh like we are used to doing, so I’d recommend that. Sit down by the bocce courts! Your kids will have schtuff to do while you wait and talk and eat and drink.

My wife and I were visiting McCall for a day trip. We went to Salmon River Brewery last year and enjoyed it so we came back yesterday. My wife had the fish and chips. The Cod was some of the best fish we have had and the fries were my favorite style (battered). I ordered the Yellow curry bowl with chicken and it was delicious, filling and a little spicy. I am usually the guy who orders a burger but I wanted to try something new and different. Perfect for a cool fall afternoon.

Stopped here for an early dinner. We both ordered the ribs. I was a bit disappointed as they were tough. Not the usual fall of the bone. They had a good flavor but I prefer them more tender. The Mac and cheese tasted excellent and the French fries were great too. Our server Parker did an excellent job. The super shiver IPA beer was tasty. This restaurant has some parking. There are 3 different experiences to choose from – the bar (with waitress), the quart yard (no server), or the rooftop. We sat in the bar room. The food options are wonderful. I got the Thai beef basil bowl and we also got the elk burger. The fries are soooo crunchy. Yum!

Stopped by on a busy Friday evening, the place was packed but got seated within 10-15 minutes, which gave us time to sample some of the beers.
Beers were tasty and food was quite good and service was impeccable! For how busy they were, food came out fast and being checked in on regularly. While we’ve been to McCall several times, this was our first visit and regret not coming here sooner!

What a great find the “Salmon River Brewery” in downtown McCall, ID. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl my friend had the Curry Bowl, both were excellent. Mine was the best. Awesome! Just, loved it. Can’t say enough good things about having warm rice, cold salad and cold ahi tuna with a little spice, excellent. Behind the bar and our servers for the night were Luke and Kyle both very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in McCall.
