Reviews
Appetizer: fig and goat cheese. The menu does not expressly state it but it is a flat bread and it is amazing. The bread itself had so much flavor and the rest of the toppings were just as good!
Dinner: Pumpkin Ravioli and mushroom ravioli. My girlfriend had the new pumpkin ravioli from their fall menu. I personally am not a pumpkin fan and I was impressed when I tasted it. I was just as impressed with the mushroom ravioli and considered getting a second to take home. My girlfriend is also not a mushroom fan and was equally impressed with my dinner.
Dessert (pictured): We don’t normally get desserts at restaurants. But I had seen previous reviews about how good their desserts were and felt compelled to try it. Boy did they live up to their expectations!
I could go on and on about how good the food was. The combination of flavors felt meticulously planned with a lot of care about how their food tastes.
The best part was our server Lou! He was extremely personable as well as a very good server overall. We had a conversation with him and felt that he enjoyed being there and not just someone at work.
Will definitely be coming back.
We started off with bread, and that’s a good indication of what to expect!! That followed by a pizza which was baked to perfection! Desserts were delightfully sweet!
Big shout-out to our waitress who made the experience 10x better with her wicked sense of humor!
We will definitely be back!!
I selected the price fix 3 course meal for $36. I ordered the beet and burrata salad, my husband ordered the Caesar salad. The salads were served on very small plates/bowls ($10-12). I ended up paying a $2 up charge on my 36 price fix for a super tiny beet salad that didn’t even fill up the tiny plate – it had three 1/2” pieces of beets and a very small ball 1/2” of cheese a 6-7 pecans and a small amount of arugula.
I ordered the shrimp and lobster ravioli which was salty but tasty, but the shrimp was l raw – slimy when I bit into it. I boxed it to go so I can cook it when I get home. My husband’s pasta was good but not worth a return visit.
The tiramisu was delicious but with very little to no coffee or espresso flavor. Our waitress was great however customers should not have to fill up their own water from a jug that is left in the table or box up their own food when a 20%+ tip is expected.
Lastly, the manager was telling the table next to us that if they would leave a 5 star review and mention the name of the waitress, “the waitress”will get a free meal.. now I know why the restaurant has a higher overall rating than it deserves – in my opinion.
