Stopped in for breakfast and found a cool old-school diner vibe here at Salles Café. The counter, the red chairs, the whole setup feels classic. Breakfast was exactly what I wanted — the potatoes were crispy, the scrambled eggs with ham and cheese were on point, and the toast was just right.
If you’re looking for a simple, traditional, old-fashioned breakfast spot, this place hits the mark.

i got off a 12 hour night shift and i was looking forward to a good meal, I saw this place open and i decided to give it a try, The Atmosphere looked great but i can’t say the same about their food. I got the steak and eggs with an extra side of fries and omg the eggs were not seasoned what so ever, steak looked boiled and it was unseasoned and mind you for 43 dollars i expected a thick steak this looked like the meat i eat with my family at the carne asada, fry’s were soggier than my socks after my shift, orange juice was almost five bucks, and it’s out of a jug not even freshly squeezed… Overall for 43 bucks was not worth it what so ever better off going to dennys or waiting for another restaurant to open, i got this at 6:18am on a tuesday

We recently saw a story on our local news about Salles Café on “J” Street in Tulare, CA. We had to try it! So on our way home from Fresno we stopped by for breakfast. Are we Happy we did, the food was well worth the stop. De-Licious! Hubby had eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy. I had their breakfast burrito…2 kinds of salsa yummm! The coffee cups were kept full-our dining experience was enjoyable and relaxing. We were half way done with our meal when we realized we didn’t snap a picture, Oh well! This place is hoppin’ and a local favorite too!

Hash brown was on point, savory, and seasoned well. I got the Salle’s omelet, soft, and it was delicious and savory. Chicken steak and biscuit were burnt. They coated really well with lots of gravy. The amount of food was moderate, not as much as other breakfast places we recently had. Price is reasonable.

My husband and I love to try new venues and it’s food. Have new experiences and we found the Salles cute little restaurant. The food was very good, great customer service. It was the first time there. I loved the history of when it first started. It was very interesting. We will come again. Thank you. (I’m a short person and the tables were a little high for me. That’s the only inconvenience i found).
