We came Valentine’s Day and reserved a table by the water. They were able to accommodate
We ate the following :
-We had two of the worst micheladas we ever experienced. Don’t ever get it
-Deep fried olive (really good)
-Kettle bread
(Good but simple, literally gave me a half stick of butter, it was so hard to use)
Traditional clam chowder
-Half killer crab
-Half crab shrimp and mussels (really tasty)
(The shrimp were tiny bay shrimp with shell on )
Personally makes no sense to me why they were so small and why the shell was on. Specially being in a “seafood house”
platters were good but the only seasoning was the little cup of butter. I think we should have got the fish platters instead, more bang for your buck.
We spent over 200$ for two people. Not worth the price.
The view, service and atmosphere was great.
We traveled from SJ for the experience and don’t think we will be back.

Salito’s Crab House & Prime Rib has a great location with beautiful waterfront views and a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. We ordered seafood dishes that looked delicious and were served hot and fresh. However, the food was a bit too salty for our taste. Overall, it’s a nice spot to enjoy seafood and good service, but the seasoning could be toned down a bit.

Decent food, service was a bit lacking in speed and attention. Even for a slow afternoon in a weekday, it was pretty lax at best. It’s a bit pricy for the quality and amount of food you get, but it isn’t bad. You are paying a bit of a premium for the view though, so be sure to enjoy it!

We wanted to visit Sausalito, and once there we decided to have lunch. We checked google and find this place, best decision ever. The restaurant is conveniently ubicated in the marina, so every table has sea views. To start, the place is gorgeous. But the people there and the food, doest not stand behind. We asked for the 2 kind of Clam chowder and we can not agree which one was better.

Great stop while in Sausalito. Enjoyed the food – clam chowder, pasta and other mains. Beautiful view of the water and the yachts. So pro tip would be to get seated by the window by the water if possible.

Every time I’m in the Bay Area, I make it a point to spend at least a few hours in Sausalito, Salito’s is my place… food is great, bartenders are great (I always eat dinner at the bar to ‘hang’ with the locals, and the views are fantastic also… highly recommend!

I highly recommend to make this stop, take in the sights, and enjoy the food. Surf and turf is always the best combo. The filet mignon was like butter, and the fish was very filling but worth every penny. I recommend ordering the fish but for 2 people because it can be a lot to finish for one person. It comes with fries on the bottom which can get soggy since the fish is fried and the oils tend to pool down on the bottom of the fish. So soggy fries was the only downside. Other than that … Everything else was perfect.

Beautiful view of the bay with fresh seafood. The Dungeness crab in garlic oil was delicious, and the calamari was also very crispy. Our favorite was the crab cakes which had a lot of crab meat and crispy outside. Great place to eat some seafood on a sunny weekend.

Basically only had appetizers: Clam chowder, lrg shrimp/mussels and a romaine salad.
The clam chowder was definitely in my top 5 . The clam chowder was creamy, just enough clams and minimal other items.
The shrimp and mussel’s were very tasty but the shrimp were shrimpy and difficult to deal with due to the shell still being on.
Anyways, this place would be a place Id come patronize again.

The beef cut was quite disappointing, the way it was cooked was also unimpressive. The meat was a consistent hard texture throughout which is not great for a rare steak. The cut itself was underwhelming as well.
The sauces a bit pointless, the potatoes were average. For a non seafood eater, this restaurant is not a great choice.
