I am going to backtrack on this one a bit. I’ve now been here 3 times and it’s not been nearly as good since that first one. Friday I had their special Fish and a chili relleno. The fish was old and the relleno was closer to a steamed mashed potato mush with no spices. Beans and rice was still good but I can’t live off that. Wife had the Tamale and it was no great shakes either. Freezer burned and dry.
Not going to give up yet but not a place I’d recommend at this point.

Not sure what the issue was for the bad reviews but the food is great and the salsa was too! Very cheap and fresh. Service excellent and the owner/cook/waitress was wonderful. Stop here for real Mexican food!

Service a little slow, cook was server and cashier. Food was ok, did not have all items on menu we wanted chicken and they didn’t have it. But, since it was one of only 2 restaurants I’m sure locals dont expect much. A little pricey for what you get.

You don’t have a lot of choices in Grand View. This is a nice restaurant with good service. Food is okay. They carry Mexican coke products which is a plus for me.
