If you’re in the mood for really good Italian pizza and warm, thoughtful service, I’d definitely recommend trying Salento Marleigh. We went for the first time this weekend and honestly, it was such a lovely experience.
Marco’s pizza was light and beautifully proved, so easy to eat without feeling heavy. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients – even the margherita stood out, with rich tomato and great mozzarella.
The service was just as impressive. Our waiter was very attentive and Cheyenne made us feel so welcome – she is a fantastic host! There’s a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away – they even make the effort to call you by name, which is such a small but meaningful touch.
We’ll definitely be back. I’m already looking forward to working our way through more of the menu!

Delicious pizza – very authentic and light. Great range of gelato and homemade desserts. Nice buzzy vibe. Very relaxed atmosphere for families when we visited during the early evening period on a Saturday. Friendly service and very reasonably priced. A little gem tucked away on the Marleigh estate. We will be back.

Two thumbs up for Customer Service.
The English Full Breakfast was mediocre, particularly the eggs, which my partner prefers runny yolk.
However, the pistachio croissant was exceptional, reminiscent of authentic pistachio croissants in Rome. The margherita pizza was also excellent.
The mozzarella cheese was particularly impressive. I intend to return for lunch and sample pasta and dessert on my next visit.

So nice to have Marco back making the city of Cambridge pizza again. You can really tell when he’s the one behind the counter. The crust was light, the toppings were spot on, and the whole thing just tasted perfect. If you’re reading this, you have got to give it a go!
