Definitely worth taking a detour away from the interstate! I was working here for the day and wound up having breakfast off the menu and for lunch the salad bar with one of the two main options (I chose fried chicken but there was also lasagne) with cobbler a la mode. Both meals were very fairly priced and delicious! The people, both the women working and the other customers, were extremely friendly and welcoming. Everyone knew each other, but they still took the time to say hello to me which is so kind and made it that much more enjoyable. It’s quite small, just the way a great luncheonette should be. A little hard to tell if you’re in the right place if you’ve not been there before, but yes, you are. Go on in!
