I was recommended to come here by a co-worker. It was the best recommendation by far. If you like salads and soup, this place is for you . They make everything fresh in front of you. They have a variety of toppings you can choose from. Everything has labels along with how much calorie intake. So if you are on a diet or your watching your calorie intake they are still they best. I enjoyed my salad everything taste fresh. When I’m in the area again I will definitely come here again

Typical big city style made to order salads. You can choose wraps, small or larger bowls. You’ll pay the basic amount for the greens and veggies. You pay extra $3-5 for your choice of protein. There is soup you can add and then you have your choice of croutons, baked pita chips, croissants, etc.
There are free refills of juices/teas/carbonated drinks on the wall. It’s all meant to be aesthetically pleasing, but there is something a bit off… the employees don’t seem to know the world of Salad – the correct proportion of salad dressing to salad greens, and typical pairings. I’ve been here 3 times now, and I’m met by confusion or blank stares when I order and then I just end of pointing and there is always too much dressing and I have to watch vigilantly and say stop. Even my native Texan co-worker who loves “smothered” everything said, “yup, they don’t eat salad themselves and there’s way too much dressing.” And yes, it’s a bit pricey. $13-15 for salad.
I’ve lived in SF, Chicago, Philly, NYC, Seoul, and this is nothing special, but for Baytown on Garth, a salad place like this is a hidden gem. There are about 5-6 booths, and about 10 tables and outdoor seating. It’s nice. And there is plenty of parking.

A healthy spot in Baytown along fast food alley that is Garth Road can be found at this establishment that offers salads mainly where you go down a line of servers and select what you’d like in your salad. They have control over the implements and your bowl until you reach the register to complete your order. I appreciated this sanitary approach where you’re not worrying what a street urchin had on his or her hand while using the salad tongs.
The salad items were fresh, of great variety, and well presented. The line moved pretty quickly.
Seating was nondescript and a bit on the cramped side with freestanding table placements too close inside. My chair and my neighbor’s behind me touched. There are booths but were filled up at lunchtime. They do have outside seating as well fronting Garth St.
Next time I’d consider a bottled beverage as the fountain drink had an off putting after taste.

This is the best salad bar I have ever been to. The options are limitless and everything is fresh. I love the fresh jalapeños, multigrain croissant that comes with the salad and my favorite meat/protein is the seafood melody which is a combination of lobster, shrimp and salmon. Place is clean and staff very polite

Big bowl for the price ESPECIALLY with no protein. These bowls are twice the size of subways and around the same price with waayyy more veggie options! I paid $7 at subway and $11 here. You get so much for the price! We need these in franchise across the USA

It’s difficult these days to find a restaurant that is both fast food AND healthy food. Salata manages to do both! Even though this location is new I haven’t had a problem getting through the line in a reasonable amount of time.
They have a million toppings to choose from, and if you choose not to add any of their “proteins” then it’s still not terribly expensive. Their custom drinks are pretty tasty, and they do have a small soda selection for soda hounds like me.
All in all, salata is wonderful and not too expensive if you stick to vegetarian options. With protein, it’s still wonderful, just a little more expensive.
(Seriously though, it’s $3 extra for nearly any protein. No thanks!)

First time there and I really loved the selection of items to add to my salad. I had Salata again after food was brought to my place of employment and it was a really nice set up they have. I can definitely see myself ordering this for maybe a family get together. Love the trays with the ingredients separated and all the extras that came with the order.

$8 for a large salad and $6 for a small. Man its delicious. Completely customize your salad down to the lettuce and best of all, the ingredients are fresh. Even the mandarin oranges have a sweet fresh taste to them. This place is a perfect choice for a delicious salad and it doesnt even cost $10. They also have a juice bar with amazing teas and then regular soda if wanted. 10/10 would totally eat again.
