Alfredo, the entertainer was very friendly and created a fantastic atmosphere dancing in stage and welcoming us in. I ordered tge chicken soup as a snack and it was amazing. Full of flavours and bits. The Cocktails taste twice as nice at half the price at happy hour on a Friday. Great atmosphere, we stayed linger then expected. The live singer and band great too. Love it here

We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and Alfredo and Mabel truly made it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and their hospitality immediately set the tone for a memorable visit. They were not only welcoming but also infused the space with a genuine Cuban charm that made the atmosphere feel vibrant, inviting, and completely authentic. It’s rare to encounter hosts who make you feel so genuinely at home, and Alfredo and Mabel did this effortlessly.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful—cozy yet lively, with a touch of Cuban flair that felt both festive and comfortable. You could tell that every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the decor to the music to the overall vibe. It created the perfect setting for a relaxed meal with friends or family, allowing everyone to truly enjoy the experience rather than just the food.

Speaking of food, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Each dish was prepared with care, bursting with flavor, and perfectly presented. The menu offered a great mix of classic Cuban dishes, and every bite reflected authenticity and quality. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the seasoning perfectly balanced. Whether it was the savory entrees or the lighter appetizers, each plate was satisfying and memorable. It’s clear that Alfredo and Mabel take pride not only in their hospitality but also in the culinary experience they offer.

What really stood out, however, was the personal touch they brought to the evening. Alfredo and Mabel went out of their way to make us feel welcome, checking in with genuine interest and sharing stories about the dishes, the culture, and the inspiration behind the menu. Their passion for their craft and their heritage was evident, and it added a special layer to the experience that made it more than just a meal—it felt like a celebration of Cuban culture and cuisine.

By the end of the evening, we felt thoroughly satisfied—not only from the delicious food but also from the warmth, care, and energy Alfredo and Mabel brought to the restaurant. It was an experience that lingered long after the meal was over. We are already planning to return and can’t wait to enjoy their hospitality and delicious dishes again.

In short, this is a must-visit spot for anyone who wants authentic Cuban food served with a smile and a personal touch. Alfredo and Mabel’s exceptional service, the inviting atmosphere, and the outstanding food make it a place we’ll happily recommend to anyone. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and the certainty that we’ll be back soon. Thank you, Alfredo and Mabel, for such a memorable experience!

It’s a place with great atmosphere and vibe. The staff were friendly and polite and Mabel made us feel great. The oyster shot was great. The house salad was just very dry, with a few cherry tomatoes. The steak sandwich was a little thin with dry bread and a bit of souse and onions. Very basic like taste and experience. A bit surprised by the very high rating of the place, but our experience was more on the average side.

While visiting Miami, we wanted to try some authentic Cuban food so we ventured out to Little Havana and found this spot. Alexis was our server and was amazing!! I asked for recommendations and his picks were delicious ‼️We tried a couple appetizers (the empanadas were superb), our main course and several mojitos. The flavors of each dish were bold and complimented each other perfectly. The live music and dancing completely transformed the meal into an experience. Very impressed with the food, service, atmosphere and entertainment.

This is our first time coming to Sala’o, we decided to come for dinner and drinks. Sala’o food and staff is amazing. The atmosphere is lovely and we happened to be there with a band playing every 30 minutes. The food is amazing, and the Cuban flavors and spices add an Incredible taste to the food. From their tostones rellenos, vaca frita and don’t forget their famous dessert, el Fanguito. Alexis, our waiter, was so attentive, great smile and he makes you feel at home. I would definitely come and try this little piece of Cuba on Calle 8.

Had an amazing Friday night at Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was lively, welcoming, and full of that authentic Cuban energy that just makes you want to relax and enjoy the night.

I ordered the vaca frita and it was absolutely on point — perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, and seasoned just right. The enchilado de camarones was just as impressive. The shrimp were fresh, cooked perfectly, and swimming in a rich, savory sauce that had just the right amount of kick.

We started with empanadas and wow… easily some of the best I’ve had. Crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made with care.

And the drinks? Just as good as the food. Well-balanced, refreshing, and the perfect complement to a fun Friday night atmosphere.

If you’re looking for great Cuban food, strong flavors, and a vibrant spot to kick off the weekend, Sala’o definitely delivers. Can’t wait to go back! The service was exceptional (our servers name is Yamgel) and the live music was a nice touch (not too loud and just the right pitch to add to the ambiance).

Went on a Friday when they had live music. Quite loud but definitely a vibe! The ropa vieja was delicious!!! Tasted like a warm hug and the flavors were fantastic. Dirty rice was perfectly seasoned. Most of the other dishes (snapper, ceviche, plantains) were tasty but standard. I recommend but personally enjoyed Versailles a bit more. This is more of a date spot dimly lit atmospheric experience and more expensive.

Great lil place. Great service. The food was ok. Extremely loud. Do not go if you want to talk to people you are with. Drinks were on point. Over all not bad. The entertainment was wonderful though!

Absolutely amazing food and very generous portions served. The decor is modern chic, with a separate cigar lounge area, and live music. Service was very slow, waitress didn’t pay much attention to our needs, took a long time to check on us and to get the check. Outside tables are too small. A photographer asks to take photos, then later tries to sell them in frames without prior warning. Overall, for food great experience, but not so much for service and intrusion from photographer.

We had a fantastic experience at Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar, and a big part of that was our server, Samantha. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Samantha knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly timed—even with the live music and busy atmosphere. Her energy and professionalism truly elevated the night. If you’re visiting Sala’o, ask for Samantha—you won’t be disappointed!
