In 2013, two college students opened a small restaurant in a back alley of Seoul, South Korea. At the time, the idea of having salad as a main meal was unfamiliar in Korean food culture, and many doubted whether such a concept could survive. But driven by a passion to move away from greasy, unhealthy food toward something fresh and wholesome, the founders persevered through a tough start. I’m glad we have a healthy fast food option in our area now! The staff was friendly and our bowls were delicious. I was quick to add my own kimchi to our bowls at home (sorry if the picture is misleading) but the sauces were super flavorful. We got the spicy bulgogi grain bowl and the bulgogi noodle bowl. Both were really good. Price points were good too!

The food here is amazing! I didn’t even like salad but this place changed my mind! The wrap tastes so delicious and the bowl is a perfect match with oriental sauce. Will definitely come again!

I used to get the boba at the alley as well as a Seoul sampler from bonchon every night. Unfortunately I got diagnosed with major health issues and was told my gluttony was a sin. And then they changed to salady! But it all works out because I’m a huge fan of vegetables! I’ve been on my fitness journey for three months now, after overcoming severe testicular cancer. It’s been tough, and I hardly ever have an appetite these days. But the kids who work there are always so kind and helpful❤️ ❤️ . They’re always willing to give me a rundown on what would be best for my needs, even if I’m not sure what to order. Sometimes the tall guy puts my order in a cup because he knows big round stuff give me ptsd. The salady staff is so considerate and I’m glad they’ve welcomed me to eat!
I highly recommend the bulgogi soba noodles, but I usually get them without nuts because it reminds me of my own trauma. If I could live in the salady bathroom, I would! It has immaculate lighting, and I would pay rent just to make TikTok videos in there.

Salady is such a fun and refreshing little find in Westminster. I love that they offer Korean inspired bowls and salads; it’s not something you see often in this area. The ingredients taste really fresh, and I especially like the soba noodle bowl with beef rib after a workout, super flavorful without feeling heavy.
That said, the service can be a bit hit or miss. The staff is friendly when you’re there in person, but I’ve noticed some inconsistency with to go orders. A couple of times dressings or toppings were missing, which is a little frustrating. Still, the food itself makes up for it, and when everything goes smoothly it’s such a great healthy option for lunch or dinner. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, just double check your take out bag before leaving.

UPDATE: the taste of the food was still good. The quality of the food was poor. Service was terrible. Hours are incorrect. Different staff working than our first visit.
We returned and ordered Beef Rib Soba Noodle and 2 Black teas. Pic of actual beef rib from my order to compare to the beef rib pic per website. Beef rib was tough, all gristle, and dry. I asked to substitute tomatoes for the egg, onion, and mushrooms meaning remove 3 items and replace with tomatoes. They wanted to charge an extra $1 despite the removal of 3 items should have offset the cost of the tomatoes.
Hours on all websites indicate they are open until 9. We arrived at 7:50. Door sign says open until 8. Cashier was rude to customer who received an incorrect order and asked the other customer how the order was supposed to be fixed since they were closed.
The teas we ordered weren’t included. I called to leave a message to either have the teas replaced or a refund for the teas. I voicemail, no answer.

Their balsamic dressing is also great – no hidden dijon mustard. Family ordered the Spicy Bulgogi bowl and the Beef Rib Soba Bowl with gochujang dressing. The portions are generous, including the protein portions.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the spicy bulgogi bibimbap bowl and the BBQ chicken bibimbap bowl with the creamy jalapeño and gochujang sauces – both were incredible. The flavors were fresh, portions generous, and I ended up eating it all in one sitting. You can really taste the quality compared to big chains. Totally worth the money.

This company is based in Korea and this is the first location in the US from what I was told! I got the double protein box and I thought it was really good! Nice new spot with Korean-inspired bowls with creative dressing options. The food was really good and fresh. We had a bowl and a wrap. The wrap was a little thick but the filling made up for it. Really well priced for the food too!
