They make salads here – it’s what they do, and now they are trying to do something else that I think takes away from their core competency. They are making “healthy” bowls with sweets and treats.
We visited here and stopped for dinner. I’m only mildly impressed. The lettuce was fresh and the toppings were good- but it had a Subway Sandwich feel A they pushed me thru the line with a type of “hurry up pressure” that I didn’t want.
I was interested in one of the warm grain choices. Neither of the three people behind the counter knew anything about warm grain choices or options, or what they could make with that choice – so I settled for lettuce. Oh well. Maybe this explains the empty store at 5pm on a Saturday.

Probably the worst location I’ve been to. Ingredients are old and mushy, especially the cucumbers and carrots, to the point where I threw the salad away when I got home because I was afraid it would make me sick. They also cut the cucumbers, ham etc in such large hunks. Worker was very friendly but they need to dump the food and get fresh stuff.

I had one of the best experiences ever at Saladworks! I ordered a chicken wrap, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had in my life, fresh, flavorful, and made just right. The customer service was A1, friendly, professional, and fast. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Definitely my new go-to spot!

Unfortunately, I visited this establishment today. The associate was friendly however the food was less than optimal. The lettuce appeared brown and the portion sizes were minuscule. The Christiana Mall has the most consistent quality at their SW. Middletown SW was very disappointing.

I have walked in and walked right out of this restaurant a number of times hoping to experience the fresh food they promise. Each time, I am met with old browning lettuce. I have finally gotten the message. Saladworks does not stand behind their statement for fresh salads.

Why offer something if you aren’t going to do it right ?
$7 for a toast with Brie cheese , strawberries and balsamic glaze
Good on the glaze and berries , not so good on the Brie .
Barely any on the toast .
Ordered the apple one a few days before and the same thing . Don’t have it in the menu if you aren’t going to make it good !!
I’ll stick to Dunkin for avacado toast and salad works for salad .
They also didn’t have cold foam for the cold foam and cold brew coffee

I ordered a basic salad. Lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, olives, cheese, chopped egg, and ranch dressing. Idk how a salad can be not good but it was not good at all. It was like…idk bland and it just off putting. My Husband ordered one of the signature salads and he said it was gross as well.
The staff was nice but the food unfortunately was not. New to the area and definitely won’t be back to this saladworks.

I needed a faster lunch in Middletown due to a break between doctor appointments. This place was a pleasant surprise! Friendly and food knowledgeable staff providing exceptional fresh and healthy food in a timely fashion, in a nice, clean environment. I would definitely return.
