I want to give Salad House Montclair a shout out because they keep me so well fed! Salad House has become my go to for a healthy lunch and I often end up going at least once, if not sometimes twice, a week. Their salads are also a great option for take out dinners in Montclair.
I’ve always loved the Apple Waldy and Buffalo Jack. The Apple Waldy is a wonderful mix of cranberries, walnuts, blue cheese and chicken with a great vinaigrette. The buffalo jack is always flavourful, filling and has a great kick to it. My partner always vouches for the falafel wrap and more recently we’ve discovered their tasty sides. The Zucchini sticks, white cheddar Mac & Cheese and Cauliflower bites are so good! I also love getting their marshmallow treats as a little snack.
I really appreciate how inexpensive Salad House is and yet every salad has always been generously portioned. There has been a consistent quality to their salads that has won me over. I highly recommend this place to any other workers around Montclair if you’re looking for a healthy and filling lunch.

The service is mostly okay. My order got messed up a couple times, but they fixed it pretty easily.
They have a new girl on salads right now- she’s amazing! My salad looked well put together and tasted like it was homemade!
My favorite meals are the Thai rice bowl and the crispy shrimp wrap: yum! The soups are tasty, especially the pumpkin bisque when they have it.
The manager Justin is very friendly- you can’t beat service with a smile. The few times that I waited outside, he brought my order out to me. Some of the other employees have done the same as well.

Second time I order from here & they do not put the extra protein I request and paid for! I do not recommend this location. On the other hand the East Rutherford location is much better at following orders.

I was really surprised by this place. There’s many salad places out there but this was good. Fresh veggies and a lot of chicken was well worth the price. Cookie wasn’t made fresh by them but was good as well.

Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap through DoorDash. Delivery was great, however my sandwich had little to no chicken, NO buffalo sauce, NO blue-cheese dressing and a lot of lettuce. I then drove to the location to ask for a refund or a new sandwich and the worker at the restaurant said there was nothing g he could do and that I needed to take it up with DoorDash. Horrible food and horrible customer service. I added a picture of what I received and what is advertised on the website so you can see the difference.
