i dont need no light
This place is such a fraud in itself. Yes, it may seem like they’re just a small business in need but it doesn’t justify the fact that they can just scam customers and charge them a different price than discussed. I was a victim of this when I was a visitor to this mall. What was supposed to be $18 turned into $29? What’s even worse was the same thing happened to a little kid and it happened right in front of my face. The food wasn’t even good. It was dry, mushy, and it just didn’t taste fresh at all. After this experience, I never went there again and started going to this actual Chinese restaurant across from them. I then realized that Sakura Tokyo is supposed to sell Japanese and Vietnamese food so why are they selling inauthentic Chinese food when they’re not supposed to while deliberately stealing someone else’s business? Ever since I stopped going, I’ve noticed that I’m often receiving disgusted looks from the lady and the guy working here. This enrages me because I have multiple reasons why I don’t go here anymore and here you are giving me dirty looks for absolutely no reason. So in my opinion, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SCAMMING BUSINESS. Any other restaurant in the food court is better than this. Plus, if you feel like eating Chinese food or just any Asian food, just go to Chef Chen’s. They’ve got everything and it’s so much better. P.S. the lady smiles creepily at everyone.

I loved the Chinese food here like the Sesame Chicken ! It was so delicious and I’ve tried their pho noodle soup. They were all outstanding. Chef’s kisses. Totally recommend this place instead of the other places in the food court.

The food is trash and the guy working there was very rude. When I was asking for a refund after my fried rice came with none of the veggies as advertised, the man working (who i believe is the owner) yelled at me and during our discussion he smacked the woman working with him on her arm to push her hand away. I will never go back.

One of my fave lunch stops near the capitol. They’re always friendly, and make great fresh sushi and their own fresh wontons too – I def recommend their pink lemonade as well!

I went to Sakura Tokyo for lunch and was disappointed by my experience. I ordered two sushi rolls: spicy tuna and salmon and avocado; the total cost was $9.53, which I find to be expensive when compared to other sushi places in the area. I was further disappointed when my order was wrong, receiving a tuna and avocado roll instead of the spicy tuna, and the portion was measly. I would not recommend eating here. You can do better than this establishment in Strawberry Square.

I am a frequent customer, After today they have lost me as their customer. Woman at the register is racist, when order was placed I advised I will be back I was going to place another order at a different restaurant. She yelled to pay immediately because she did not trust what will happen. The food was not even ready, a caucasian male did the same thing and she let him go without payment. I am not racist everyone is beautiful and kind in their own way. This was embarrassing for strawberry square considering I also live there.

I come to this place very often and tried a lot of their food. I love their sushi and pho soup. The rice and chicken is fabulous especially the bourbon chicken. The sushi and pho soup are very delicious and most importantly, they are very fresh. The service of these employees are outstanding. I love their food and it’s the best place in the food court. I recommend others to try food from this place too.
