So I went today to try out something because I was starving, and there was this lady eyeing me down across the food court like she desperately needed customers. At first, I ignored her, but then decided to give it a try since my hunger overpowered me, and the freebies which I no longer felt after tasting the food. I ordered sweet chicken with fried yellow rice, teriyaki chicken noodles, and a lemonade that wasn’t lemonade for $27.90. And it would’ve been nice if the portions matched the price, but instead, I got the smallest serving I’ve ever seen and the most disgusting concoction I’ve ever had. The noodles tasted old, reheated, hard/stale, unknown slob, while the yellow rice and sweet chicken tasted like cleaning chemicals—fake, sour, weirdly looking, and just not good. It was also uncomfortable because the lady kept eyeing me down after I received my food. They used outside-displayed noodles and teriyaki chicken, which I specifically told them I didn’t want and asked for fresh instead, but they ignored me. The old dude complained and waving his hands around, continuing to gripe as if I didn’t give them a chance at redemption or my money epically after They made forced suggestions, didn’t let me speak or choose my own options, hurriedly picking for me without asking if I wanted it and a minor discount for taking the suggested food though I understand most won’t go that far but after all that I expect good service or discount which got neither but instead food so disgusting that I felt sick and actually threw up due to the aftertaste of the teriyaki chicken with noodles and the fried rice with sweet chicken that tasted raw, old, and cold trash. When I asked for my money back, they responded with attitude and comments to get to hiking it if I didn’t like it. Frustrated and feeling like I might vomit, I had enough and left, since it seemed like they were just desperate for money anyway. For anyone thinking of going there in the future, I strongly advise choosing another place if you care about your health and money. I would never come back to this place again and wish I never went through such a terrible experience and had actual food that day leaving hungry, disgusted, and sick.

This place is a complete scam. I wish I read the reviews before I decided to eat here. They advertised 8 peice roll but I ended up with 6 peices? The prices are extremely high. I understand if its a small buisness but its not okay to scam people. The other reviews are years ago and they were awful and so I thought to give it a try but it turned out to be worse
Paid almost 10$ for 6 peices of sushi. Ridiculous! Will not be coming back

The mongolian chicken is amazing. Spring rolls aren’t super greasy (great). The fried rice is good. Service is always fast and portions are generous. Their homemade iced tea is good too.

It’s a great lunch spot

The owners are wonderful kind and caring people. I’ve never been disappointed with the food. It’s the only place in the food court that I get anything. The pork Fried Rice always taste fresh and also the egg rolls and the crab rangoon. I always recommend this restaurant to others.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Seriously do not go! I hope it goes out of business to be honest. I LOVE Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls and wanted to give this place a try. It was TERRIBLE! They legit sliced one shrimp in each roll in half and just stuffed it with iceberg lettuce. Usually it’s stuffed with other veggies. They legit sliced one shrimp in half to make it look like two shrimp per roll which is still skimpy for the price. And the lady/owner was so rude just on the phone the whole time. And the kicker is it cost $7! And it was one shrimp and some iceberg lettuce. Usually these come with at least 3/4 shrimp per roll, some cucumber maybe even a mango or other veg. Lots of ingredients. Nope it was one single shrimp sliced in half with some iceberg lettuce. A complete ripoff. I could have gotten so much better food for the same price. Terrible food and terrible customer service. Don’t waste your time here at all. I almost asked for a refund because it was that insulting but decided it wasn’t worth my time. But do not go here this place is absolutely terrible and a sham. And I usually give places a second chance but this place is absolutely terrible. Do NOT GO! I get if they are a struggling business. Well then pick up your customer service. No the lady was on the phone the whole time and just rude to me for no reason at all. I do not recommend at all to even consider.

Went today at 9:40am expecting the food to be super fresh. The food tasted like it had chemicals in it! I called and took it back explaining my issue n the owner gave me horrible attitude and told me not to come back! He even took a pic of my receipt so he can have my card marked to never serve again! Nastiness for sure. I did get a refund. Won’t ever go back!

This place is such a fraud in itself. Yes, it may seem like they’re just a small business in need but it doesn’t justify the fact that they can just scam customers and charge them a different price than discussed. I was a victim of this when I was a visitor to this mall. What was supposed to be $18 turned into $29? What’s even worse was the same thing happened to a little kid and it happened right in front of my face. The food wasn’t even good. It was dry, mushy, and it just didn’t taste fresh at all. After this experience, I never went there again and started going to this actual Chinese restaurant across from them. I then realized that Sakura Tokyo is supposed to sell Japanese and Vietnamese food so why are they selling inauthentic Chinese food when they’re not supposed to while deliberately stealing someone else’s business? Ever since I stopped going, I’ve noticed that I’m often receiving disgusted looks from the lady and the guy working here. This enrages me because I have multiple reasons why I don’t go here anymore and here you are giving me dirty looks for absolutely no reason. So in my opinion, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SCAMMING BUSINESS. Any other restaurant in the food court is better than this. Plus, if you feel like eating Chinese food or just any Asian food, just go to Chef Chen’s. They’ve got everything and it’s so much better. P.S. the lady smiles creepily at everyone.

The food is trash and the guy working there was very rude. When I was asking for a refund after my fried rice came with none of the veggies as advertised, the man working (who i believe is the owner) yelled at me and during our discussion he smacked the woman working with him on her arm to push her hand away. I will never go back.
