The food was absolutely amazing. Sushi was perfect. The pricing really is not bad at all, for 2 meals plus sushi and drink $52. The ginger that is served with the sushi is so good, I usually don’t like ginger but this is good. The Wasabi is so smooth and creamy yet also still spicy, it’s perfect. Our server was so sweet and made sure we were fully taken care of. I would 100% recommend.

We had dinner here for my wife’s birthday in mid August. The food was good and they made accommodations due to my wife and son having shrimp allergies. But food was served very slowly. Not a big deal for us. Fast forward to yesterday Dec. 10 and we were calling in a pickup order for the family. We mentioned the shrimp allergies and the person on the phone said that the chef will not change his gloves between orders. What?! So you would rather lose a customer because they could die from contamination than change gloves. We will never eat from here again. The extreme lack of caring for customers is ridiculous. If I could give 0 stars then I would since that is my child and wife’s lives they didn’t care about!

Came for lunch to meet up with some coworkers. By the time I got there, everyone was already seated so I just walked in and sat down. Shortly after sitting down, the waitress came to take our order. The drinks were brought out shortly after. The sushi that was ordered came out very quickly. The food ordered came out very staggered. The first dish was brought out and it was several minutes before the next dish came out. A couple minutes later another dish was brought out. Then a couple minutes later the last 2 dishes were brought out. The timing was just really weird. The food was ok. The Kung pow chicken I had was very flavorful. The spicy teriyaki chicken was alright, I felt like it was lacking flavor. The waitress did come and check on us but never offered to refill anyone’s water.

The food here is usually good but today I got the chicken Katsu which is supposed to be light golden brown but it was charred black and inedible, it had the texture of chicharrones. I’m dissatisfied as it was close to $20. I got it to go and didn’t think to check the food before I drove home.

This isn’t a 5 star place with premium sushi, but for a small town this is dang good! You get treated well, large portion sizes, and good quality food. The atmosphere is an attempt to look high end, but the reality is that this building used to be a Pizza Hut.

Sakura’s is a great place for sushi and Chinese specialties. I especially always have enjoyed their Mexican Roll. A great place for lunch/or dinner with the family. Not an expensive place to eat, and you will most definitely get your moneys worth. Highly recommend this place!!!
