This place has been for a decade or more. The atmosphere and service has always been spectacular. I usually sit at the bar and have immediate service and great conversation if you wish for it. The food is amazing. I tend to stick to the rolls. While there are a lot of fried rolls thier fresh fish is exactly that and clean. I tend to lean toward their volcano and eel avocado rolls. Their tiger and catapiler is amazing too.

This is one of the best Teppanyaki restaurants in Chicago. The service is great. The food it’s amazing, delicious, and you will have leftovers to take home. Our cook’s name was Henry. He was awesome and funny. I would totally recommend, I love it, and so would you!

I’ve been here with a large group and also by myself, and I’ve had great experiences every time. The food is delicious with huge portions, and everyone who works there is kind and accommodating.

The chef really put on a show with some mad skills. The hibachi wasn’t bad either

Had a lovely meal with friends here a couple weeks ago. The restaurant was very busy but has a good atmosphere with the hibachi grills going and all of the fun food antics.

Probably my favorite place in Chicago. The food is delicious for a reasonable price. The staff are all incredibly kind and accommodating. It’s great for a romantic dinner date or getting lunch with friends. I’ve been here several times and always walked away happy. Keep up the great work!

Food was mediocre at best. The ginger salad dressing had an off taste and was chunky, not smooth as most other hibachi restaurants. The Sakura sushi roll was decent but as far as flavor goes the rest of the meal was severely lacking. Service was great, however they do automatically add a 18% gratuity to the bill so beware of that.

Posting this after letting the experience rest for about 4 weeks. Went there as part of a friends birthday celebration with an original group of 12, later downsized at our final confirmation for the party reservation. Arrived at the restaurant about 5 minutes before the reservation and 2 members of our party stuck in traffic. Front of house staff asked us to wait by the sushi bar for a table to open up and for the remaining members of our party to show up. No big deal!

I personally am not very familiar with Hibachi restaurants, my buddy, on the other hand, considers himself to be a “Hibachi connoisseur.” He has been eating at them regularly since he was about 13 years old (needless to say…he knows his Hibachi LoL) This is the first time him or I have been to this particular restaurant. And everything here, in my opinion, was “top notch!” The food and the flavors were intensely delicious! My buddy’s statement was, “This is the best Hibachi restaurant I have ever been to,” which I believe speaks volumes as to the quality of the food. We started by ordering a sushi roll that was pretty good. He ordered the grilled steak and shrimp Hibachi, and I ordered the garlic scallops and garlic shrimp Hibachi. I have to be honest, even though the garlic scallops and shrimp were incredible, the grilled shrimp was a tad bit better. And I will definitely be ordering them the next time I go back. My buddy told me the cost was a bit more than an average Hibachi restaurant, but we both agreed that it was without a doubt, worth it. Overall, highly recommended and will definitely be returning!
