Sakura Sushi & Thai Cuisine has always been one of my favorite local spots. When I worked in the area, I used to stop by at least once a week, and I still think about their Pad See Ew! It’s perfectly cooked every time, with that great balance of flavor and texture that’s hard to find elsewhere.
The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and the service is quick whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
If you’re craving good sushi or Thai food made with care, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend it!

I got sick 15 minutes after eating there. My friends did not, I ordered the green curry. The green curry was not even good, the sauce is very liquid and the peppers are raws. The spring rolls are clearly cheap frozen foods. The menu is huge so I guess I should not be surprised that they serve frozen foods.

Very cute little Sushi & Thai restaurant in NOHO. I had a spicy Tuna roll , a Maguro & a Sake Maki roll. The only thing I am not a fan of is the plastic cup. I was served water in it. Not appropriate for a dine in restaurant vibe.

I have been to Sakura Sushi & Thai Cuisine a few times and I really appreciate how they are able to serve delicious and inexpensive sushi at a relatively low price point for Manhattan. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our Thai Iced Teas for only $3.50, which is a steal compared to the prices of Thai Iced Teas at other restaurants! My friends enjoyed their special rolls and avocado rolls. This time I got the Salmon Donburi, which comes with Miso Soup and 12 slices of salmon sashimi. The miso soup and rice were prepared well. The salmon was only okay in my opinion. The cuts of salmon could have been better, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless and will come back. I got full quickly so I took the rest to go. The ambiance of the place is nice though, it’s in a great location, and the food came out relatively fast.

Food is really fresh here and noodles are very nice! Home-made vibes which is always cozy and goes great with the decoration. I do have to say that the food was not very exciting and while it did the job, I would have liked to come across something that sparked my interest a little more. Nice spot but can’t say I’ll be back.

Went there today on my lunch hour with my work collies. Everyone was so nice food and everything was wonderful worth the lunch hour. So happy they were packed. Nice people deserve good business. Will come back for sure.

Great staff. The Miso Salmon was delicious. It was on a bed of mixed vegetables with a side of rice and Miso Soup. Large portions too. Definitely recommend this dish. The Ikura sashimi was tiny.

This was a great find! Nice, relaxing, and chill place to have fresh and delicious sushi. Had the crispy rice and sushi deluxe which came with assorted fish. A side of their strawberry sake perfectly completes the meal.

Ah-mazing sushi! But, they also offer rice and noodle dishes, along with curry if you’re with someone who isn’t feeling sushi. Sake is also served here. Staff was really kind. Chill atmosphere. Great casual spot. Great prices. Great food.
