The food was great! As soon as you walk in the door the smell has you salivating. The ginger dressing on the salad was one of the better ones I have had. The fried rice was on point and perfect. The sauces used for hibachi chicken were so tasty I couldn’t stop eating even though I was full.

By far the best Sushi place around! Delicious food, excellent service and unbeatable prices!!! Truly unbeatable lunch and dinner specials! We eat here all the time and always have the best food and experience!! I’m vegan and highly allergic to dairy and they always make sure my meal is correct!

The food is always phenomenal. The waitresses are open to conversation while still serving you in a timely manner. The dining area is tidy and the bathrooms smell like they’ve been cleaned regularly. It’s all around a great atmosphere that my whole family enjoys.

My wife found this place and after looking at the reviews we decided to try it. Our experience wasn’t what the majority of the people posting experienced. We arrived and it took a little while to even get seated even though they weren’t super busy. Once seated looking around most of the tables were dirty. They only have one hibachi chef on a Saturday evening so it took awhile to get food. The waitresses were not good at their job, must be new or not well trained. The prices are on par with the other hibachi restaurants in Mobile but you get LESS food I mean WAAYYY less. See the pics of you don’t believe me. Me and my wife ordered the Sakura special for 2 with chicken, shrimp, and steak and the portion sizes are ridiculous! 8 pieces of chicken and steak and shrimp. Like they were counting out everything. The chef was just ok. No where near the other restaurants in Mobile. No seasoning on the food just a little pepper and soy sauce. Not sure about the yum yum sauce either. Don’t know how theirs is made but I’ve never seen yum yum sauce left out at room temperature because it doesn’t have preservatives it has to be refrigerated. Here it’s left out on the table. Didn’t trust it had them bring me out some cold yum yum sauce. The atmosphere wasn’t that inviting. Really thought about leaving after the long wait to be seated in a half empty restaurant but we stuck it out. Wish we would have left. The money you spend here is right there with the other hibachi restaurants but the service and food are worse by far. Won’t go back!

Firstly, I apologize for possibly coming off as a Karen when I have truly given many, many chances and this was the breaking point. To start off, I picked up my food everything was great and I could tell they were busy so I obviously didn’t mind the wait, t’was all good, then realized it was a good thing I ordered extra sauce because half of the lids were not on properly and spilled all in my bags- a minor inconvenience but a sucky one and then the kicker… my chicken (now on several occasions) has been burnt. THIS TIME specifically, my chicken is absolutely ruined. The chicken itself is fine, technically, but it was burnt/ charred in some places and then it tasted as though the grill had not been cleaned or the oil had been burned. I tried picking around it but through and through after four other people tried it, all of us agreed it’s BURNT. Chicken should not be tough to chew nor should it taste like straight charcoal. I’m highly disappointed as the quality of this restaurant just seems to keep going down the drain and it absolutely breaks my heart as this was once my favorite restaurant and I have many childhood memories here. Once again, I’m extremely disappointed and pretty bummed out. 🙁
