Food was severely overcooked. I don’t know how they’re still in business. Udon noodles were literally falling apart from being overcooked. The cabbage in the udon noodles was so soft it disintegrated in my mouth which wasn’t a pleasant experience. The wor wonton soup was overcooked as well. I’ve never had a soup where every vegetable was falling apart with trying to pick it up with a spoon. Wontons in the soup were overcooked. Just everything was unpleasantly soft. Spam masubi was a sad execution. I’ve never received such bad food from anywhere. I’m relatively new to the area and heard good things about this restaurant. There has to be better options than this. I’m just shocked from the food that was served. There was only an older woman and a gentleman in the restaurant when I came to pick up my food and they were genuinely so friendly so making this review is hard but there’s no excuse for poor quality food.

I just went here today for the first time, and I was quite worried at first because I have had a lot of sushi and I’m very picky about quality, and when I came here it was completely empty and I was the only one here. But it came out looking amazing and tasted just as good; I will definitely be making the trip here again, probably this week lol! The magalia roll is amazing !

Great little spot for sushi. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The food had good flavor and was prepared quickly. The fish seemed fresh and had good flavor. the rolls were all a decent size. The prices were fair. I will come back in the future. The restaurant appeared clean. It was a little cold but they had a space heater to keep us warm. I recommend giving this business a try.

Last weekend we went to this place, but if only I had inspected the place beforehand, I don’t think I would have eaten there. The bathroom is super dirty and the place looks unsanitary. I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen is like; everything looks dirty. The chicken in the soup tasted like it was already spoiled.

4-9-23 – This was my maybe 3rd time here. As always, the food was great. There was a little delay in refilling our drinks. They, however, were friendly.

Beautiful and delicious! The quality, fresh ingredients never disappoint. The wonton soup is amazingly rich and they definitely don’t skimp.

Had the Magalia roll add cream cheese & cream cheese wontons. Good food, close to home, and the wait is never too long. Not the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life but for this place to be in the mountains away from the ocean I will not complain. Portions are good, prices are fare I dig it.

Was weary at first because the first thought i had was it was mountain sushi. But as soon as I had my first bite that thought went away. It was delicious. I absolutely loved the rainbow roll and they Thai tea. Will 100% go there again

Sakura Sushi is Magalia’s Road House for Sushi. Their various rolls are pretty good. We had the specialty Rainbow, Crunchy, and the standard California roll which I can recommend. The Spam musubi (a great road snack) was well prepared as well. With some cold beers the food was good. However, be prepared for take-out. They hadn’t changed the oil in a while and the smell lingered on our clothes and hair for days. They’re making an effort and deserve a try but they need work on the ambiance.
