In my search for new local restaurants after moving to a new state, I stumbled across this sushi spot and wow, I’m glad I did!
The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The tables are close together, so it wouldn’t be my place for a super private conversation but it worked in our favor since we ended up meeting some really great people!
Prices are standard for quality sushi, and the daily specials are a huge bonus. The food? Absolutely worth it. Even something simple like their tempura vegetables was incredible—the batter was light, flavorful, and unforgettable. We ordered two large rolls, 8 pieces of sashimi, and 8 pieces of sushi, and savored every single bite. The scallop and fish were especially top-notch, with fresh flavors that matched exactly what we were hoping for. Service was attentive and friendly, even though we came in within the last 90 minutes of service. Big points for that!
I’d highly recommend this place for a date night or an evening out with friends. It’s a little tight for my (wild) kids, but if your crew eats out with kids often, it’s definitely doable.

Very nice sushi place. The food was good and portions were generous. Sometimes they have buy one get one specials. Delicious otoro, salmon and tuna. Loved their spicy garlic edamame! Really love the pretty and pink decor styling. I do wish they offered cocktails or sake to go with the sushi.

Amazing experience from start to finish! The sashimi platter was absolutely stunning—fresh, thick cuts of salmon, tuna, and white fish beautifully presented and incredibly clean in flavor. You can truly taste the quality of the fish. The chef’s special toro with uni and caviar was a standout—rich, buttery, and perfectly balanced. The sweet shrimp was another highlight, super fresh and naturally sweet, with a great texture.

The food is pretty good. The prices are reasonable compared to other areas, the presentation amazing, and the food is definitely not the best you could find, but it definitely hits the spot. The hosts and chef are all amazing and on the off chance you go here when it’s not busy, they are a delight to talk to one on one. Definitely a recommend if you’re near the place.

This little restaurant is a GEM and some of the best sushi we’ve ever experienced in Denver! We were greeted warmly and welcomed to the restaurant upon arrival. We were sat immediately in their adorable dining room that offered an intimate atmosphere with our friends. Everything we ordered was Perfection! Hot dishes were piping hot, sushi was extremely fresh and all the flavors made your taste buds dance! The presentation and attention to detail in the food is unparalleled, a true feast for the eyes! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite, right down to the delicious dessert! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future for more culinary delights! Be sure to check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed

We came here for dinner after a meeting at 7pm. There were a few tables pf folks. We chose to sot at the bar, I always like to watch them work.
Ordered the Spicy crispy tuna appetizer-wow!!! What a creation. Very different and delicious! Also had the garlic chili edamame!
I ordered the chicken veg tempura and hubby had numerous different rolls. Just wonderful! Only been open for 4 months- but seem to have it together. Neglected to ask if they are going to get a beer and wine license, I imagine they will. Didn’t miss it though. Will return!

This is our go-to new favorite sushi restaurant! My husband and I almost thought this place was too good to be true. This is the spot!! Generous portions, great prices and wonderful service!
The rolls are nicely made and filled with the good stuff… not mostly rice, “crab meat” or cream cheese like other places. You can get those special rolls if you want but if you also like good old fashioned real sushi, or fresh, melt in your mouth, thick cuts of delicious sashimi, come here.

Try the Toro, they often have a special on those. Sooo yum. Katsu is yum too. And I noticed now they are serving alcohol which is a nice option.

Sakura is absolutely amazing. The food is fresh, delicious, and very high quality. Jason, the chef, is so kind and his work is clearly a labor of love. Everyone who works there is dedicated to creating a fantastic experience for customers. The decor is so cute (love the pink cherry blossom theme), and there is abundant parking, making this place easily accessible.
Highly recommend checking this place out ASAP; it is truly excellent!

Very nice small restaurant. I really liked the decor, plates and chopsticks they all look very nicely and unique. Ordered Rainbow roll with cucumbers they turned out great and tasty. Staff were nice overall enjoyed this place definitely recommend
