A dinner and a spectacular show! Loved the crowd pleasing hibachi performance and the food was fantastic. We love coming here in San Carlos, the food is top notch! Highly recommend the noodles, special rolls and nigiri with a great rice to fish ratio.

After coming here for a company outing, I decided to go back for my anniversary and again for my birthday. Every time, the service was stellar and the Sushi stands out from anything else in its price range! They use lots of different sauces and the rolls all taste distinct beyond just the fish that was used. Though I have yet to try any of the hibachi courses myself it’s very fun to see the chefs cook. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I have reason to celebrate and want to enjoy food that I know will be good!

Local favorite in downtown San Carlos. The show is good, the service is efficient, the food is good and the children’s meals are generous. The grill seating can get crowded during popular times, so reservations will be necessary. There is covered outdoor seating with heat lamps so it is possible to dine outside even during inclement weather. It will be loud during popular times so great place to go with group or kids. Usually get the couples special which is a good meal for 2. The show will very depending on the chef.

Good value hibachi dinner! We arrived for a late Saturday dinner and were seated immediately. They have very reasonably priced couple’s special for 2 people. My friend and I ordered the chicken and shrimp special and my other 2 friends ordered the filet mignon and chicken special. The special also comes with soup, salad, vegetable fried rice, and hibachi veggies. Good sized portion of meat, especially shrimp, and always fun to watch the chefs cook in front of you!

Sakura in San Carlos was an excellent meal and an excellent show!! We went for lunch on a Friday, and our reservation was last minute for 6. They were able to accommodate us with no issues! It was a work celebration lunch with coworkers.
We arrived and we’re seated right away. Our waiter was super nice, and our hibachi chef was a lot of fun. He gave us a good show and got everyone’s special requests in.
It was an awesome experience! One of my coworkers was ready to go back right away!! I am certain we will be back.

Updating my review – taking it down to 1 star. The point of the place is the Teppanyaki show, especially for kids. Booked a table for kids birthday party but no T – we stared at an empty grill. cooked it all in the back. Excuse was we had too many people 9 – when the next table over had 8. Total lie. So beware.
Went tonight with our daughter and had a very good experience. She loved the show, which seemed a bit more enthusiastic than our last visit to Benihana. We got the couples combo dinner plus some nigiri for my daughter. It was a good value and surprisingly quick. Not fancy, but seemed fun. Our food was fine.

We tried the rainbow, giant, and shrimp tempura rolls at Sakura Sushi. While the rolls tasted good and were well-prepared, the portion sizes were surprisingly small. If you’re planning to dine here, I recommend ordering more than you would at other sushi spots to ensure you’re satisfied. The flavors are solid, but be ready for smaller bites!

The Hamachi is insanely good and high quality. Perfect spices, juiciness, and proportions. I’ll definitely come again!
The eel was insanely good too. Melts in your mouth.
