The service is wonderful I love the kind staff who are wonderful cooks every time! This place has a 3 course meal with huge portions, house salad, miso soup then whatever you main dish you chose to have cooked up right in front of you! Its such a fun experience to take the family too or just a fun dinner with friends! Would definitely recommend very great food and great plum wine

Teppanyaki style Japanese grill. Smaller older place (said been there 35 years). Facilities are a little run down but workable. Good place for larger group.
Menu does not say if they use MSG but certainly use fair amount of salt. I felt like I had eaten MSG that evening.
Most meals come with a very basic salad and small bowl of Miso soup. Salad dressing is sweeter than other Japanese styles in restaurants.
All entrees are cooked together and you are likely to get a small sampling of everything that was cooked. We ordered the Tokyo dinner special shared between 2 of us (add $5 to share an order that’s provides an extra salad and soup). Sharing was perfect for us as the size of the serving is large otherwise.
Steak was cooked together order but the pieces were too large to eat with the spoon and fork flat ware provided. Had to ask for steak knives. The scallops were cooked nicely, very tender and juicy. The shrimp were large and flavorful. Some of the vegetables included too much stalk that was not edible but otherwise ok.
They did forget to bring out our appetizer of tempura shrimp. However ended up not wanting it given the size and variety of our meal after all. Though I would have liked to sample the shrimp.
I did very much appreciate the unsolicited small gift of treats they gave our very young birthday girl that we were celebrating. An extra personal touch that she really liked.
Overall a good family and friends place and chance to have a social experience with others at your table.

We all LOVE it here. The kids love to watch the food being cooked. And they are so friendly and wonderful. We will keep coming back again and again and bringing people with us. The vibe feels hole in the wall ish but the delicious food and the people make it worth it. Not to mention that the food portions are massive! Also they offer gluten and dairy free options.

Salty, oily, and otherwise flavorless food. This was my first time eating here, and i thought with the abundance of glowing reviews it must be great. Wrong! I find it very hard to believe 90% of the reviews on here. Its like they are eating at a different restaurant.

A little on the spendy side, but well worth it. Friendly place, engaging staff, and great food. They cook your meal in front of you. Not too sure I liked the idea of them doing ours and another party who arrived after we ordered all at the same time. It was like they thought we were all together, even though we obviously weren’t. I think it caused my son to get only part of his meal. The experience was fun and exciting nonetheless. Very clean place. (Yes, even the ceiling.) The cook even wrote “happy birthday” on the grill for a gentleman in the other party whose birthday was being celebrated. Will definitely be going back.

This restaurant is really good! My husband and I went there for our anniversary and the food was delicious. They gave us a lot of food, most of which we ended up taking home for leftovers. It’s fun watching them cook your food in front of you. I had the ocean combo because I love seafood, and my husband had the teriyaki chicken and shrimp combo.

Fantastic food, fantastic service! We had the steak and shrimp combination and the shrimp and scallop combination. I love the salad dressing and the hot sake. Our Chef was absolutely fantastic. Very mesmerizing to watch her cook! The portions are very generous so you’ll have leftovers! Can hardly wait to visit again soon

We ordered a to-go order which no one expects the food quality to be the same as sitting inside. But upon eating our meals the food was not good at all, we made the order last night my pick up time was at 7:45 they close at 8pm so before I attempted to call them i seen that they close at 8pm on google so i waited till about 5:25 the next day (they open at 5pm) Whoever my wife spoke to did not offer a refund but only a 15 percent discount as long as we come inside upon eating inside. She told my wife no refund because we did not come the same night to bring the food back , even tho they closed at 8 she said that we still could have came back because they were still inside cleaning . My problem is we have literally all the food in every plate and we’re willing to take the food back to then so we can experience the quality of the food. But due to us calling the next day instead she won’t honor it . To spend $60 bucks and only get a offer for %15 is outrageous. And very disappointing. We declined the offer .

My family has been going here for over 20 years, and I have yet to taste anything like it. The owners are very kind people and the food is phenomenal. Portion sizes are big enough to take home half and eat it later. The fried rice is probably the best thing i’ve ever tasted.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and great food. It was busier than I expected for a weekday lunch. Not crowded, but certainly busy. Food was made quickly (faster than a lot of sit down restaurants), efficiently, and it all tasted delicious and fresh. Easily the best sesame chicken and yakisoba I’ve had since the last time I was in Japan. Will definitely go again.

A few groups were obviously there for business lunches and I can see the appeal. It was quiet enough for it despite there being a couple dozen folks there. There were also a few regulars that staff chatted with in between tasks. Definitely lent to the laid back air of the place. Also, I really liked the artwork and how the place was decorated. They have some interesting mixed media art pieces.
