We were in the Winter Haven area & a couple people suggested Sakura Japanese Steakhouse. It was really full & we were quoted waiting 45 minutes but they called us within 15 minutes. If you go, make sure you are in a “happy happy” mood it was a bit loud but after we sat down I realized why, the cooks at the hibachi table were very interactive with guests. The cooks had us laughing and everyone was having fun. Prices were good for the amount of food we got, we all had alot of leftovers. Overall it was a nice place for dinner

Although it sounded fun in the hibachi room and the sushi rolls we got (spicy girl, spicy salmon, and the white tuna roll) were all stuffed with bread crumbs. No whole fish in any of the rolls. Didn’t taste like good sushi. This fish paste definitely thumbs down. DONT GET THE ROLLS IF YOU COME. NO FISH PASTE IS WORTH $55.

Came for lunch the place was empty we came with a group of 4 for hibachi. No one was waiting for place to sit and they wouldn’t let us sit in a straight line infront of the table made 2 of our people sit on the side. We even said that we would move if more people come in but the manager was extremely rude and argued. No one else showed up before cooking or food coming. But some reason my child couldn’t sit beside me or my husband: stick with Kobe’s and skip this place

Wife took me here and I must say I was impressed. Great food and atmosphere. The hibachi experience was awesome there! My son absolutely loved it and became the star attraction at our table . Overall fantastic all around. We will definitely be coming back.

Took at least 30 mins to get started on the hibachi grill before someone came to cook. Nothing was said that it was going to be that long, or if they were short staffed. We had 3 kids with us for lunch( hard to keep entertained for sitting that long) disappointed that no one explained why it took too long. The chef was great and entertaining when he arrived. Menu prices did not match the bill.

Delicious hibachi and very attentive service. I ordered the crab rangoon for an appetizer and the chicken and scallops hibachi combo. The soup that came with was just okay but the rest of the food was really good. Water was refilled promptly and plates cleared nicely.

We love this place,our go-to for hibachi! Everything is always delicious with generous portions. Perfectly seared shrimp, juicy steak, the best hibachi noodles, yummy fried rice, my favorite seaweed salad, love the salad dressing and their Gyoza is deliciously crispy and nicely filled.
