Sakura delivered a fantastic dining experience for my party of fifteen, accommodating us with ease and no issues at all. From the moment we sat down, the service was attentive and seamless, which is no small feat with such a large group.

The food itself was excellent. My plate was loaded with perfectly seared scallops, tender steak bites, juicy shrimp, and fresh sautéed vegetables over flavorful rice. Everything was cooked just right—the scallops had a beautiful golden crust, the steak was rich and savory, and the shrimp carried a great balance of seasoning. The vegetables added a nice freshness and rounded out the dish well.

Sakura really shines in both quality and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel welcome whether you’re there for a quick dinner or celebrating with a big group. With flavorful food, generous portions, and top-notch service, it’s an easy spot to recommend.

Incredible hibachi! They were able to cater to my gluten-free/celiac and did an awesome job.
The portions were huge and it was very delicious!
I very much enjoyed the soup and salad and I got chicken and fried rice and veggies and had enough for leftovers!

The atmosphere was filled with conversations, laughter, and the aroma of delicious food. We were seated and the food preparation began. The chef has talent and the food was served after the “show” of preparing it. The flames were flamming and drew gasps each time an orange fireball appeared. FYI bring your inhaler if you have asthma or respiratory issues! Once you’re served anything start eating. Im.not sure if it was time based but I did feel rushed a n d my husband’s plate was taken before he was done. I’d come back tho, just eat faster I guess?

The food and the chef was excellent! Nothing to complain with that but I do have a complaint due to the service we experienced. Mariam who attended us did not make us feel very welcomed, she seemed a bit rude and irritated with us, she didn’t come and check if we wanted a refill with drinks or anything else until the very end when she asked if everything was okay. I was so upset cause was my birthday and my grandson birthday too. Bad experience this time!

We tried Sakura Steak House Hibachi once and the food itself was excellent — everything was hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. The chef put on a great show at the grill, making the whole hibachi experience fun and lively. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the fried rice had that great smoky flavor you only get from a hot grill.

The only downside was the group we were seated with — the atmosphere at our table felt a bit awkward, which took away from the overall experience. The restaurant itself was clean, service was attentive, and the wait time was reasonable for a busy night.

Overall, great food and entertaining chefs, but the shared-table setup can be hit or miss depending on who you’re seated with.

If you choose to sit on the opposite side of the teppanyaka service then prepare to sit and be ignored for an hour before finally being seen. The host sat us down and told us that sitting either side you would get food the same way which was a total lie only thing we got was two glasses of water and a salad and no more service for the rest of the night until we got up and finally just left Will not recommend and will not ever be going back.

I recently placed a to-go order and had a very disappointing experience. The service was terrible from start to finish. When I tried to address an issue with my order, the manager was outright rude and dismissive instead of trying to help resolve the problem. On top of that, they attempted to charge my card twice for a mistake on their end, which was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, my order was supposed to include the complimentary soup and salad, but they weren’t included at all. Overall, the customer service and handling of the situation were very poor, and it left a really bad impression. I hope the management works on treating customers with more respect and being more careful when handling payments and orders.

Come here on special occasions, always enjoy the food and the service is always good no matter how busy. Usually come with a large family of 13 and they always find a way to accommodate a party that large. Sushi is yummy but not the star of the show. Great value cause you never leave without leftovers.

Great portion! Food was so so good, the salad is amazing, the soup is so tasty, so fresh made, my husband and I really enjoyed it! We sit in the restaurant side and was great. We for sure will go back.

Well, at the Sakura Japanese Steak and seafood restaurant in Fredericksburg Virginia today our family had a blast. As the Teppanyaki Japanese Chef prepared our dinner over the Teppanyaki grill, it was absolutely delicious.
You may from time to time have a wait, but keep in mind they are preparing this food in front of people and therefore it’s not fast food, but fine dining and as such will also cost you a little more.
As busy as this business is they may over look something from time to time, but not very often. And if they should; bring it up in kindness as to their culture, not as you would in yours. Sometimes, we Americans forget what is respectful in our culture is not respectful in some other cultures.
The Chef was fun, professional and very kind. This is a great business to go to with a special occasion or to have a wonderful experience in other cultural cooking styles.
So stop by and slow down and just enjoy yourself the people around you and have a wonderful experience.
