Sakura Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar is an absolute find. The food is consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I especially loved the Chirashi Bowl generous portions of high-quality fish over perfectly seasoned rice. The California Roll was delicious and well balanced, and the Carpaccio was a standout dish with its clean, delicate taste. Service was genuinely good, too. The staff were attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed. Whether you’re in the mood for classic rolls or something a bit more refined, Sakura delivers on quality and consistency. A great spot for anyone craving excellent sushi in the area!

Unbelievable sushi place while being an unassuming neighborhood spot without any of the pretension/overkill that is common in LA. Huge, generous pieces of fish that are the perfect texture and taste. The sashimi is bountiful and the sushi menu is extensive – the seared tuna and yellowtail are my favorites. The sake is also amazing. These guys never miss. Service is fast and efficient and the prices are truly unbeatable in west LA.

Such great sushi!! Fresh fish, fresh veggies, and great rice! The waitresses were lovely and the sushi chefs are fantastic. It was my first time here and I love it so very much! Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied after my meal, I took a nap haha, so you know it was good! Will definitely be coming back here regularly 🙂

Great Japanese restaurant, been here in LA for a long time. Its quite loud and busy inside but the food is great! We were seated within minutes even though it was very busy. Courteous and kind service. There are 3 sushi chefs at the bar. Positive atmosphere.

Overall, I am not happy or impressed by the food or experience. Items we ordered were not prepared yet we were charged for them. The drinks were good, but the rice and scallops were not tasteful, and the chicken was not good. Sushi was best part of meal.

Chirashi and 16 piece are great price for what you get! It was all delicious I would definitely come back. It gets busy so be prepeared to wait or sit at the bar if you aren’t the first seated.
