Traditional spot for Japanese noodles, teriyaki, unlimited sushi & grilling by teppanyaki chefs.

We found a long, thin hair in our sushi roll and called the Chinese waitress at the front desk (we thought she was the manager). She checked and said, as if it were not a big deal, “Oh, you just don’t eat it.” Then she asked again if we wanted to eat the rest of the sushi rolls. We said “no,” and she took the plate away. No apologies at all, as if this happens every day in her life. Well, this was not expected or accepted. We looked at the chef’s counter and saw an Indian guy with a big beard, uncovered.
Honestly, we lost our appetite immediately and paid the bill soon. Okay. My first time ever not to tip at all. We love our Chinese waitress at our table, who served us so well. She deserved a good tip. We were really sorry we didn’t tip at all, but we will never return to that restaurant.
Frankly speaking, we would have been fine with “Sorry.” No apologies at all.

You can never go wrong with AYCE! (as long as you have someone who can finish everything for you ) We went here as a group of 8 for lunch and oh my… we ordered so much food! I didn’t even get to take a picture of everything. The sushi was really good and satisfying! Tasted fresh and the food got to us so quick! I just wish the tempura and the fried rice weren’t a bit too oily, but that must’ve just been an off day. We finished off the course with desserts: ice cream, friend banana, milk bread! This place is always busy so thank you to the servers and the cooks that made food so fast, we were actually really hungry. Would definitely come back!

The food was good overall—fresh ingredients, well-prepared dishes, and satisfying flavors. Everything came out nicely presented. A solid spot if you’re craving Japanese cuisine.

My friend and I recently visited a buffet, and overall, it was a delightful experience. If you’re Muslim, I recommend skipping the chicken and beef options, as they are not halal. Instead, focus on the seafood selections, which were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fried items, although I suggest trying them last, as they can be quite filling.
The highlight of my meal was the variety of seafood, including oysters and squid, both of which were flavorful and prepared well. The pie and tempura dishes were standout choices, with a perfect balance of texture and taste. Also don’t try their soup if you have a desi taste bud. For dessert, I highly recommend the banana fry paired with your favorite ice cream—it was a delightful end to the meal.
Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. For less than $40, the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet offers incredible value, especially considering the quality of the food. The Pad Thai noodles were also a pleasant surprise, seasoned and flavored just right. Overall, it’s a great option for seafood lovers looking for an affordable and satisfying meal.

Excellent ayce sushi for lunch today. Shrimp tempura and other appetizers were all great. Sushi rolls were rolled well, not too much rice, delicious fresh ingredients. Dessert was delicious. Everything we got today was amazing. Service was great as well. One of the best overall ayce sushi experiences I’ve had.

Between the one waitress just pacing back and forth a meter away from me for 3/4 of my visit, the general attitude of the staff, or the sub par/expired sushi; Its hard to state at what point the dinner was bad.
I do not recommend coming here. Plain and simple, until they review their standards of operations.

Sakura is honestly one of the best places to eat in Kingston! The place is super clean and well-kept, and the staff are really friendly. We ordered everything through an iPad, which was actually really fun. You can order as much as you want, and the food comes out within just a few minutes — fresh, hot, and straight from the kitchen. It’s amazing how quick they are, and you never end up waiting around or getting bored.
Drinks aren’t free, but the prices are good, and someone always walks around with a big water carafe to fill up your glasses, which is nice. The food itself was delicious — there’s something for everyone: sushi, grilled stuff, desserts, you name it. Everything tasted super fresh, and we all left totally full and happy.
It was a really cool experience to go there with the family. Ordering on the iPad makes it feel modern and kind of exciting, and the price for what you get is totally fair. You get a ton of good food for the money.
All in all, Sakura’s just a great spot — awesome service, tasty fresh food, and a relaxed vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Kingston!

Almost always a good experience! Sometimes it can be a little difficult to communicate with staff when it is busy, but they are all constantly moving and working hard to ensure everyone quickly gets their food and empty plates are being removed from tables. The price is 100% worth it and I always leave feeling satisfied.

Yikes. The food is good, but I got in trouble for bringing in an energy drink . Probably won’t come here again, to be honest. I’m already paying $40, why I’m forced to pay for their bad sugary drinks as well is beyond me. No logic behind it. It’s generally a routine for me to drink a sugar free energy drink while I eat sushi. Makes no sense in my opinion, but oh well.
