Stopped in to grab a bite to eat while I was on that side of town. Ordered the Chicken Hibachi. The serving size is huge. Definitely enough for 2 meals. The chicken had a funny taste to it. There were very large chunks of chicken and the meat was dry. The broccoli was really good and so were the mushrooms. The carrots, and there was a lot of them, were all overcooked and mushy. I had heard great things about the food and wanted to give them a try. I was not impressed with the chicken hibachi but open to try something else on the menu next time.

Stopped by around 640 last night. Ordered our food and sat and waited in the lobby. One employee mumbled under her breath when we walked in like she didn’t want us in there. Once we got our food, it was barely warm. Chicken so dry you can barely chew it. Loud music playing, employee cussing, just all around not a good experience. Not the first time I’ve eaten here but this time it just was not good. May or may not be back

This place used to be pretty consistent. About a month ago. One of the girls upfront told me that the original cook was murdered. That came completely from left field. Ever since then the food has not been the same. Over cooked and greasy In comparison. I don’t go as much as I used to if at all. Nothing could beat the way the other guy cooked. He was always always always consistent with his plates. I’m sorry he had to leave us.

Rude cashiers acting like they are being inconvenienced by me patronizing their establishment. I will not ever go there again! This place use to be consistently good all around. Music blasting like it’s a club, I wonder what happened? No greetings or thank you for visiting us.

I stood here in front of the people for 10 minutes before someone even looked at me to order. That’s ridiculous. Not even on a customer service level but on a human decency level. I’d end my life if I treated others the way these people treat their paying customers. Food is ok.

Hibachi is so fresh and delicious. I ordered steak, shrimp and scallops. Each very delicious. They have the best carrots I’ve ever had, too. Broccoli was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the fresh kimchi on the side, too. Very delicious!

After dining here for 10 + years. Had to submit a review. It was great when we started and even better now. The carrots are not something you’d expect but so great. Portions are huge. Their yum sauce is phenomenal and as teriyaki. I believe it was an old Hardee’s but don’t let appearance fool you. Service and food are impeccable. We get take out everytime we’re in Macon. Don’t hesitate to try.

What in the world happened to this place? I always order the fish and they literally put a fried piece of fish with sauce on the plate. I should have know something was wrong when they said 15 minutes. They used to say 30 to 45 minutes. The fish would be cooked on the habichi grill and the outside was crispy with no batter and the inside was light and flaky. The carrots were terrible, nothing like the original sweet carrots. I was really saddened by this. But I guess nothing stays the same. The staff was nice though. I wish the original owners would have passed down their secrets.

I came in to order to go And I’m just absolutely shocked this is not the same Sakura from 2020. The cashier just stood there talk to the other cashier for 10 mins before asking me “WHAT YOU WANT?” Aggressively. Said okay maybe it’s just that Macon hospitality. Get my food absolutely disgusting canned carrots for hibachi? What happened to this place?

Like a lot if people said, the food is a 4 or 5 rating. Plenty of food for a good price. Everything tastes great. But dont come here for a 5 star experience. Its all pretty old and everything inside has a slightly sticky layer of fried oil residue. For sure with a visit.
