One of the few places open for lunch on thanksgiving. Got the California roll, it was just ok. Skimpy on the crab. But ok for about $5. The place is definitely best for takeout and for if you need food in a pinch.

I order here from Sakura Harrison every often and I usually get their Teriyakis always with white rice. This time I got rice drenched in soy sauce on both platters. It wasn’t the worst taste but white rice definitely pairs better with the dish. Just a matter of getting the order correct next time.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and disgust after finding a cockroach in my food during my recent order from your establishment. On 2/10/25 I ordered chicken teriyaki via uber eats and as I began eating, I was horrified to discover a dead cockroach embedded in the food.
Not only was this incident extremely unsettling, but it also raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and food safety standards at your establishment. I was looking forward to enjoying a pleasant experience, but instead, I was left feeling disgusted and uneasy.

Order the teriyaki chicken they had some chicken on the grill already out of the rice. Add some of the teriyaki sauce.

Where do i get started!!!
1. Staff was not friendly!
2. The food was not fresh!! The sushi was so chewyyy
3. I fell sick within an hour!!

When i did takeaway last year – chicken teriyaki and rice- it was greattt!! Food was hot and fresh! Lasted for 2/3 meals!! I dunno what happened! This poor performance isn’t helpful

Food was absolutely excellent, but service was horrible! We weren’t acknowledged for 10 minutes while standing right at the counter. Pick up orders were coming and going the entire time. Finally I asked if I could order to eat in, and the man at the counter cut me off mid question, and told me to “hold on one minute”. My husband and I almost walked out right there, but we were short on time. I understand they get busy during lunchtime, but there’s no excuse to ignore a customer for that long, and then rudely cut them off after you’ve been ignoring said customer for 10 minutes, just to tell them to wait longer. To top it all off, the next few people to walk in were acknowledged almost immediately. Not sure if we would return based on the service we were given.

Am not going to hold my comments as an avid sushi eater coming from Japan. Its actually not bad, their cut of fish is fresh enough and tastes decent.
I ordered a Sakura Roll, basically spicy tuna and fish eggs and mayo. It was exactly what I ordered,not bad at all. The rice was ok but I prefer softer sushi rice.
You should never expect NYC A-Grade cuts of fish here, but its a nice place to get you sushi fix on the fly.
Eel Bento: Surprisingly good, the portion in the eel bento. I would recommend it for those who want to try some eel.
Tempura Shrimp Roll: There was no shrimp… It was just batter… batter and rice.
Service? Well, as some other commented, it could be better. The atmosphere was basically they don’t want to be there and it shows, its just a job to survive and nothing more, so don’t expect them to greet you nicely or welcome you with open arms~ But they do their job when your ordering so thats good enough. Its ok I guess, but far from “Damn, I need this” level.

Ordered frm Ubereats . I asked for extra soy sauce and jus got 6. All good. The portion was good . The sushi was sad looking . Def won’t be ordering off Uber eats if I want Sakura sushi you gotta be in the building to get your sushi pretty lookin. Overall it’s good food. I added the avocado frm home.
