Firstly, let me say I’m very appreciative that you guys are still open at this location. I’ve enjoyed Sarku Japan since I was a child, always at the Crystal Mall.
Secondly, service needs to be emphasized in your training. While I enjoyed my meal today, the gentleman who took my order was little more than a walking corpse. Stared off into the distance for so long I thought he might be literally dead. Thankfully, he eventually looked at me and took my order.

I had the beef teriyaki with noodles add the soda and it came to $13. What a deal it was just absolutely delicious I ate the whole thing I can’t believe it.

The cashier was the worst I’ve ever seen. He was more concerned about his cell phone and poor service. Everything bothers him. He show that sucks to be there. I ordered sushi and noodles. It was quick, but I had to wait for sushi because the person making it didn’t make it, and then made other things I didn’t order. I’ll never come back.

I’ve been eating here, pretty regularly (couple times a month) for the last 6 years. Over the last year, it has changed!!!! The food is no where near as good as it used to be. There is definitely a different crew since Covid ended. Today’s chicken was burnt an the noodles had little to no flavor. This has been happening quite a bit lately so I will be taking an indefinite break. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE.

Always enjoy my meal here as it is prepared fresh and never disappoints. Order double meat on the chicken teriyaki and it is easily shared by two (hint- when they offer extra sauce say yes). The one criticism is that their refill policy on soft drinks has been inconsistent. I am never denied a refill for $.50, but my ex-wife and son have both been denied. Other than that, love, love, love the food.

I ordered on Grubhub a Chicken Teriyaki Platter, a 6 pack of dumplings, and soda. I ended up not getting any of that. I got shrimp low mein bento box, which I can’t eat the noodles. And I got sushi that I can’t eat. So basically I just got a soda I just wanted my rice and chicken.

I enjoyed seeing them cook the food right in the front of me, and hearing the sizzling. Teriyaki flavored chicken/beef/shrimp taste pretty good. Much better than average food court, but also extremely cheaper compare with a dine-in place. Don’t expect too much personalized options. If you don’t know what to order, try bento box(come with a little bit of everything).
