I almost never leave reviews, but after lunch today I had to. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken lunch portion, and it was hands down the most tender chicken I’ve ever eaten. The rice was fresh, hot, perfectly sticky, and fluffy in all the best ways. The chicken was generously sauced and beautifully grilled. I’ve never felt compelled to thank a chef before, but this meal was truly exceptional. To the chef cooking lunch today—seriously, thank you.

We have been eating at Sakura‘s for several years, and the food has always been very good. This is the first time we have been disappointed. We had purchased chicken fried rice for my grandson who’s 2-1/2. He loves rice. His first serving was great. His second serving had a long black hair in it. Needless to say, we had to throw it out. Our family are all blonde so we know it didn’t come from us. I would suggest your employees wear hairnets.

I stopped by to have some lunch during my work day. It was my first time. I enjoyed the casual environment. You order at the counter. They bring the food out to you. They have fountain drinks and Japanese sodas in a fridge. There’s a huge variety and it’s awesome. I had veggie tempura, veggie noodles with sweet potato rolls and veggie rolls. Very yummy. I had a lovely experience. It allowed me time to decompress before my last part of the day.

Delicious sushi! I love the soybean paper in replace of the seaweed in the Fusion roll; and the flavors, creaminess and richness of the Godzilla roll makes these two my absolute favorites!
Service is always fast and friendly; the wait times aren’t too terrible — the place can get busy sometimes, but that just means the food is good. Definitely the best sushi in the Wentzville area.

Chicken was rancid. Called the owner. All he did was argue that no one else had complained. “We sell a lot of chicken. You’re the only one who has complained.” Absolutely belligerent. Refused to take responsibility or replace our meals. Basically called us liars. I had ended up eating one piece of the chicken and thought it tasted really really off. Then I tried another and knew it was off the charts bad. Made my stomach turn. My husband had eaten two pieces and said his was fine. Then had a third and ended up spitting it out. People – If you’ve had rotten chicken before – you know it. We have eaten there several times. This is our first bad experience – but what makes it worse is the disrespectful treatment we received from the restaurant owner. He just kept arguing and arguing and arguing. We can’t support that kind of poor leadership. Absolutely 100% Disappointed!!!!!!!!
