Unbelievable buffet found in my hometown!! Who knew!! I’ve had my share of AYCE especially in the Central Valley and I have to say it’s the best that I’ve been to and it’s located in good ole Tulare!! The sushi was very fresh and it wasn’t just California Rolls! They had fresh nigiri both tuna and salmon. Then there was fresh tuna and salmon sashimi. I made it a point to try most everything. The soups were good. The fresh oysters was fresh and I dared to eat it without issues. The Chinese food variety was everything your heart desires. Then there’s your fried food like egg rolls, shrimp, chicken, and French fries. The place was clean and welcoming. The wait staff clear your clean plate asap. The price point was really good also. I have recommended the place already and I look forward to coming asap.

I just moved back Tulare, my hometown, after 20 yrs.in San Jose. There, friends introduced me to sushi and I fell in love. So that’s something I’ve missed since returning. Gradually, I found a couple of little places that are good. But when I happened upon this restaurant and saw that word “buffet” I couldnt get to their door fast enough! oh word! It’s all one price o prepare to pay when arriving before they seat you. First, it is stunning inside with a beautiful crystal chandelier on the ceiling. They have four huge square servings stations and a dessert station. Hot replacement food is constantly coming from their kitchen. And servers come to inquire if you want your dr8nk refilled. You WON’t be disappointed!

It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. I read some reviews before coming and decided to give this place a try. The food was warm with nice flavoring. There was a pretty decent-sized array of foods, enough to keep you full just by sampling the foods. I wasn’t even able to try everything but I would definitely come back and try some of the other stuff.
The sushi was especially good with many different selections to pick from. It was fresh alongside the sashimi. The beef and soups were delicious as well. On a side note, the water here is great. Usually around the area, water is unfiltered with an unpleasant taste to it, but at Sakura Buffet, it was refreshing and tasted thoroughly filtered—a nice change for once! The deserts were nice, not overly sweet with ice cream available in the freezer next to it. The mango jello was yummy!
Plates, utensils, and counters were kept clean and orderly. The staff was also extremely attentive, coming constantly to clear plates and refill drinks. Definitely don’t let some of the bad reviews deter you from coming. Come check this place out!

I guess I was lucky before. The food in this place looked fresh and beautifully presented. Everything was fine… If it weren’t for yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night with severe nausea. I was throwing up all morning… Porries and a high temperature. I think I can handle it. But I will say one thing, I will not come back! I do not recommend it to anyone! This place has big problems with hygiene! The guys set high prices, hoping to make good money. But damn! Why are there flies crawling on your food? Who gave you a license?

Before I visited, I checked a few reviews so I could see if they are true or not. I use open mind . The bad reviews on dessert are unjustified. They had big selection and was tasty. Another review had the food as tasteless. I found most had good flavor. The biggest problem to me is the stations the food is in. All the food that was supposed to be warm was really cold unless they just put item in from kitchen. It almost seems it is done on purpose so food would look fresher. As a licensed professional in the industry. I know it should be warm. The check was much larger than advertised so be careful. Staff was quick at getting plates. The soup was hot .

We were celebrating my son’s birthday at this buffet. The food was amazing and we were having a good chat. The lovely waitress over heard us that it was his birthday. Once we were done eating she whispered in my ear saying she prepared a cake for him. We were shocked and later surprised him by singing happy birthday. Not only was it a surprise but it was sincere. She genuinely was happy to celebrate with us. A must go place for good food and service!

The food was good but on the soups they didn’t have any names so I got the thing closest to a chicken noodle soup but it ended up being a egg drop soup…
The meat was hard to cut and even harder to chew
The peaches were SOOOOOO good!!! They were sweet and juicy.
Overall it was good but I wish they put a little more effort into the service because they came to our table once and she was kinda grumpy but yea everything else was pretty good…

Sakura Buffet – A Galaxy of Grub in Tulare!
Step aside, Starship Enterprise—there’s a new warp-speed destination in Tulare, and it’s called Sakura.
You enter through a space-themed portal that looks like it was built by NASA’s cousin who majored in “Why Not?” Suddenly, you’re transported from the final frontier to a dining room filled with graceful paintings of beautiful Asian women watching over you, probably silently judging how many crab rangoons you can balance on one plate (spoiler: a lot).
Look up, and you’ll see fluffy clouds painted on the ceiling, and right in the middle? A chandelier so massive and sparkly it could guide lost sailors home. Honestly, it makes you feel like you’re eating under a bougie indoor sky.
The food?
American classics? Check.
Korean delights? Check.
Chinese comfort food? Check.
Sushi and sashimi? Check and check again, Captain.
They even have bottomless sodas and horchata for only $2.50. No alcohol, but when your drink cup never empties, who needs it?
Cleanliness: impeccable. Seriously, you could drop your egg roll on the floor and still feel comfortable doing the five-second rule (but don’t). The staff? Friendlier than your grandma when you finally come visit.
In short: Sakura is like if Las Vegas and an Asian art museum had a baby, and that baby decided to feed you until you had to be rolled back out through the Milky Way entryway.
Would return, would overeat, would stare at the chandelier again.

Food was good, should of went when it was a little more busier, was expecting the soft drinks to be included with the price. Not worth all the hype, but I might eat there again.

I was impressed by this place since I set foot in.. but I was rapidly disappointed once I waited to long to get a refill, I had to get up and bring my own drinks to table 🙁 the sushi is great other plates can get cold easily.
