I had my mom‘s 69th birthday with friends. It took a while to get seated, but as I understand, it was one of the busiest nights they have ever had. Overall, the service was great. The food was excellent, and the hibachi chef’s showmanship was genuine and beautiful. I would recommend this for birthdays and special events—a wonderful treat: a dinner-and-a-show worth every penny. And a large wraparound table to commune with and a chef in the middle, giving you a show.

Went with 4 friends, excellent food. Ordered the chicken and steak hibachi. We had a wonderful time, already planning our next visit. Family near us had a birthday, the staff brought her a piece of cake with a candle on top and sang Happy Birthday to her. Very entertaining and highly recommend going there.

If you’re looking for an incredible teppanyaki experience, Sakura in Prescott Valley is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The energy in the restaurant was lively, and our grill master absolutely stole the show — he was hilarious, engaging, and kept everyone laughing the entire time.
The food was phenomenal! I ordered the steak and scallops, and both were cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The kids had a blast, too, because the whole experience is very interactive. Between the chef’s tricks, the flying utensils, and the bursts of flame on the grill, there was never a dull moment at the table.
One thing to note: it’s definitely on the louder side, so this isn’t the place for a quiet, intimate conversation. But if you’re there to have fun, enjoy amazing food, and soak up a lively atmosphere, it’s perfect. We sat and had sushi in the dining room before and there is no sound barrier between the rooms, so that can get loud too.
We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try next time. Can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing experience. Our hibachi chef was Joe and he gave us such a good time and it wasn’t just about the show but the food was SO GOOD. We will definitely be coming back for future celebrations and fantastic food. The atmosphere was beautiful and felt like a completely different world when you walk in from the parking lot.

Initially, we were thrilled to try this restaurant due to its convenient location, but our experience was disappointing.
As avid sushi fans, we were drawn to the mango roll, but it failed to meet our expectations, especially when compared to the exceptional mango roll at Harumi.
The pork gyoza was satisfactory but unremarkable.
The toro lover roll lacked the distinct flavors of mango and jalapeño, tasting more like sushi from Fry’s.
Even the spicy salmon roll, ordered as a standard measurement, was underwhelming.
We are hesitant to return or give it another try, as the food lacked authenticity and the quality we expect from Japanese cuisine.

This is not a typical Japanese style teppanyaki style. It’s taste reminds me of WZ Asian restaurant. The food was more of a chinese-american style….sweet and salty. The fried rice didn’t really have any egg, vegetable or soy sauce/garlic butter. The place was very busy…thinking because the restaurant is very unique up here in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area. I would not be planning to come back here on a regular basis.

We love the Hibachi table Teppanyaki food. We arrived at 5:15 the hostess was quite rude. She told us we needed to reserve abd the next time slot was 6:30. We arrived at 6: 25…. no one acknowledged until 6:40. Then she said out table needs to be cleared. We were sat at 7:10. Order was placed at 7:25. We had fun but our chef was not so energetic as the other chefs. This is close to my house and it was good, yet We have had better.

We arrived at 4pm to avoid the crowds. We were seated next to a lovely couple celebrating their 39th anniversary. Our hibachi chef was Wyatt and we thought he was outstanding. He made sure we all had fun and our food was cooked perfectly. We had filet, chicken, noodles, rice and salad. We will be back. P.s our server was so sweet and full of smiles. We can’t remember her name but she was attentive and we were happy with her service.
