This restaurant is a fantastic choice for both teppanyaki and regular dining. The menu offers a nice variety of appetizers and drinks, and everything we tried was high quality. The hibachi chefs are energetic and friendly, and the staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is cozy and ideal for a relaxing dinner.

Horrible service! Everyone there is unprofessional. You have the hostess NOT at her post and comes out 5 minutes later eating a slice of pizza and mumbling with food in her mouth. When I inquired about my online order, she says it will be right out but leaves her post AGAIN. 10 minutes later another hostess is seating
people not realizing my order is sitting on the table ready to go. I asked the hostess if that’s my order and she says yes and hands me the order. When I get home and settled, I noticed there were items missing. I called and told the “manager” Turquoise that items were missing from my order. She puts me on hold and “verifies” that the cook definitely made my order correct. Now sweetheart, why would I lie about getting double shrimp which clearly cost more… make it make sense! I ordered CHICKEN and SHRIMP for a reason. I simply wanted my order replaced the next time I can come by to re order. She then makes up some policy that states all customers must check their own order prior to leaving…. Sweetheart I don’t work there… yall do! I will be calling and going up there tomorrow to find out who really runs this place to get my order corrected! Oh and by the way, here’s the picture of the CHICKEN and shrimp that your cook definitely said was correct.
Play with someone else.

My evening was so amazing, I sat at the bar & I had onion soup , rock n roll sushi & sake. Everything was amazing with the help of Antonio he suggested most of what I had and I was very pleased.

If there was a button for ten stars, Keysha at Sakuras would have received it! Your experience at a restaurant starts at the door. From the visuals to the smells. But the person who serves you accounts for fifty percent of a restaurants reputation. Keysha, your service is definitely remarkable and I’ll recommend this place and you for the rest of my life. I was just passing through, but I will definitely be back. Great food. Chefs actually prepare your food the way you ask. The visuals and atmosphere are inviting and warm. The smells enticing. But oh the service. Ask for Keysha! If you’re disappointed, I’ll refund your meal!

We were (10) deep on our reservation. The drinks were good. However, the food was not! While at the Hibachi, the rice was served hard; he then mixed filet mignon with the strip steak; then he yelled at my friend as she asked for medium well and he served her well done. The flavor and seasonings can’t hold a candle to Benihana! I rather spend more money for better tasting food and services. I’LL NEVER GO BACK!!

Terrible service, I have been coming here for years and have continued coming even with the change of distance I am now. Today at about 05:30pm me and my husband came in and 25 minutes later we are still trying to meet our server for drinks. The host apologizes and says it’s her fault and didn’t notify anyone. I did imagine there was some kind of order for this as many people seated afterwards were immediately attended too.
Update: they ended up assigning a server to us by the name of Luis, and he was amazing. He took great care of us and the food was better that the last few times we visited, and food came out fairly fast. So I will have to thank our server Luis and the chefs, who I believe might be new. There was genuinely a big difference in the quality of the food. The 3 star for service is not meant for our server but rather the unorganized manner of the communication between host and staff.

I hate to have to write this, but I feel constructive criticism is needed. I have ate here 100’s of times and that is no exaggeration. I do not cook anymore so I go here at least 3x a week since 2018. It was so often, that the servers knew what my order was going to be as soon as I sat down. I am not sure if the turnover rate has gotten high but the last 3x I’ve gone the service has been horrible. I literally just got up right now and walked out. I am writing this review from my vehicle. I walked in and was seated right away. I sat there for almost 20 minutes and no one said a thing. Some guy finally came over and told me he was going to bring me some water. I said thank you and also ordered another beverage. I sat there for almost 10 more minutes. He never brought my water, he never brought the beverage I asked for, and he never came and took my order. I decided right then and there that I am never coming back. I have given this establishment way too much money to not be able to get a glass of water. I walked out and he was still nowhere in sight. They have great food, but the service has gone downhill. I am very big on service, which is why I always went there because it’s always been great. If it was just this time or a random coincidence, that would be one thing but the last 3x I’ve gone there it’s been something similar. I was there last Thursday. I always always always order extra ginger no wasabi. I reminded him twice, I still got wasabi which I just scrapped off my plate. My sushi came out first. I was almost done eating when my edamame (appetizer) came out. I was already full so I just put it in a to-go container. He also never brought the Diet Coke I ordered. It wasn’t on the bill so I didn’t care. Maybe I’ll try in a few months but for now, it’s a no for me.

Went here with friends, they were short staffed. Had to remind our waitress to bring drinks that we ordered because she forgot. We ordered a bunch of sushi off the happy hour menu and didnt recieve half of our order. My husband’s sake was watered down and didn’t taste like sake. When we got our bill which we had split so it was just my husband and I on our bill, we were charged 18% gratuity for shitty service and mediocre food, half of which we didnt recieve. Not sure we will ever go back.

Chino was a horrible chef. He was disinterested and did not do any of the usual hibachi chef tricks. He was quick and sloppy. However, when a group he knew sat at the table behind our table, he was cheery towards them. The vegetables were undercooked. He overcooked the eggs, shrimps, and our protein (steak and scallops). I asked him to recook my steak, and he begrudgingly did it after arguing with me. He overcooked it again.
This is the second time my husband and I have noticed that at Sakura, both the waitress and hibachi chef treat us like a nuisance. In both scenarios, we were sat with people with children and we are a couple. I am not sure if they are told that couples don’t tip well, or some other reason, but they treat us like second rate. As an example from the latest visit, the waitress asked the mom and her two daughters for their drink order first, they said they needed time. So instead of turning to us, she just stood there and waited for them to decide before taking our drink order. Throughout the entire service, from our perspective, it seemed they prioritized them, and it was difficult for us to grab the attention of the staff.

Food is bland and basic. Easy to taste the frozen and fried appetizers. The sushi is mid quality. My server was amazing and made sure I was getting everything I wanted and needed. She made this review be higher than deserved. Willost likely not be back.
