My Mom and I came here for our birthday, and while the food and atmosphere was great, the service was not. We had an older lady come take our order but couldn’t seem to understand simple words and make fun of the fact we had an accent to where she couldn’t understand. My Mom ordered water and she couldn’t seem to understand what that was, I asked what kind of hot tea they had and she seemed inconvenienced to tell me… which was one kind anyway. My Mom then decided she wanted hot tea as well and the woman got an attitude about it. Then my Dad, bless his heart wanting to make it special, told her it was our birthdays. No acknowledgment and just ignored him. The food, AMAZING. The chef, AMAZING. I hate to give such a poor score based on one person, but they make the first impression and the first impression, not great. Will probably go to another hibachi another time, knowing there is a drive to another one.

I would give this place five stars, All the employees here are absolutely amazing and very nice.! The only reason I’m giving such low of stars because of the one employee that they have, It’s a young girl that helps run the place, She’s very rude and definitely doesn’t have a friend friendly demeanor to her. I really do not like dealing with her When I come in, and I really think that she should be in the back versus dealing with customers.. Her customer service is just not good especially when you’re a customer that spends quite a bit of money and tips well.
Again, All the other employees are very welcoming and pleasant Aunt to deal with.

I went here with my sister and her husband unplanned, not knowing that our dinner would take them to closing time. That said, we were seated promptly which was surprising on a Friday night. Just an FYI, they will not seat you until your entire party is present. Since we were a party of 3, we had other diners at our table as typical for a teppanyaki restaurant.
The atmosphere is loud and exciting. I loved it, but i can understand that it may not be for everyone. One of the staff members was going around to larger parties with a tambourine hyping them up which was fun. Teppanyaki is all about a fun and engaging dining experience, so I enjoyed all of this.
We started with come drinks. I had a katate punch which was very enjoyable. I also had a sip of the love potion #9 my sister ordered which, given a choice between them, id choose the love potion in the future. For my meal, I had the filet mignon and shrimp combo which came with an appetizer choice (I chose shrimp which essentially meant I got two extra pieces of shrimp with my meal), a house soup, a salad with ginger dressing, choice of fried or steamed rice, soba noodles, and vegetables. My plate was FULL when all was said and done. Overall a great value considering the price and the portion size. We all definitely took some leftovers home.
As I said, the staff was friendly, fun and engaging. Our chef was phenomenal. I would have appreciated it if a server came around more often for cocktail orders and refills of soft drinks, but thats really my only critique.

We were celebrating our birthdays..We were sat in n area that was too small cramped for the 2 of us..we never got our salads or refills on drinks..portions were small compared to other steakhouses n for price. The sauce they use on filet n chicken is sickenly sweet..I dont like sweet food unless it’s dessert.
Atmosphere is busy..noisey..no dividers between parties.
We were given our salads at the end to take home after letting server know we never recd them with our dinner.
After leaving n going home..we had to recover…digestive system was not happy.

What I came for: I had a hankering for sushi, but didn’t want to spend too much on it. I also wanted to feel full after eating it for the price I paid. I had never been to Sakura before, but decided to give it a try.
What I Got: Spicy California Roll, Spicy Crunch Shrimp roll, Avocado Roll
My Experience: Highly Recommend.
Overall, I was very impressed with the sushi here. It was made fresh in front of you, very chill ambiance, and safety precautions taken. The restaurant is hibachi-style (think Benihana). They give 8 pieces per roll, which is substantial for the price ($4-$6 per roll), especially compared to other sushi places in the area. 2 rolls is definitely enough to get you full. The spice in both rolls was understated, so if you’re not into spice, it will taste delicious. If you want something with more kick to where you feel the spice, it might not be for you. They give you a nice serving of soy sauce, which you won’t need much of because the taste of the salt really comes through strong.
Tip: I would order ahead for pickup to cut down on the wait time, though.

I love this place! It is a hidden gem that always gives me the best feeling just being there. The sushi is exquisite! Watching the chef cook right in front of us is awesome. You would love it too.

Sakura never disappoints! The food is always great, and the drinks are strong. You don’t have to go for the hibachi show — sitting at the bar or a side table gets you the same delicious food and a more relaxed experience. Always a solid choice.

Mom went to Sakura’s for Hibachi dine in, I told her to bring me an order back home. Chicken and Shrimp with steamed rice, with noodles and add egg, all veggies with no carrots and no mushrooms. Mom gets home and my food is WRONG. Didn’t eat 1 piece because I had my craving set on the noodles. Called Sakura’s the next day because by the time my mom got back home Sakuras is closed. We live 40 minutes away. Sakuras said that egg doesn’t come with steamed rice and noodles doesn’t come with to go orders (yet the waitress never said that) said everything my Mother said would be included, and my mom even told them to just add it to the dine in hibachi, and she’d box it up but no, the waitress insisted that to go, everything would be included and even read the order back to my mom. So basically I just wasted $30. Ill never be back to this sakuras location again. All I wanted was for them to make my egg and noodles, I’d come pick it up but that was a hassle. Told me they’d charge me for it, but yet I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. I literally could’ve went to Osakas in Culpeper which is closer and cheaper because they don’t have noodles there. Still not going to eat my food because it’s not how I asked for it and paid for it. Straight to the trash it goes. Ridiculous, I’m beyond irritated. Go to another location that can admit their wrongs.

We had a great first experience for our anniversary dinner. My husband and I had a backup plan that if hibachi was too full, we’d sit at the sushi bar. Well, I was secretly glad to see business doing so well on a Tuesday night… the sushi bar is the way to go!
We had great service, and even more importantly amazing sushi. They have some really creative rolls on the menu and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!
